Extreme fun. Vladislav Gurov about organizing bike quests and bike excursions. Extreme Teen Fun

Extreme sports can be divided into the following types: air, water, land, underground, mountain.

We list the most popular sports associated with increased risk.

Air extreme includes:

Freestyle - performing various figures in free fall.

Skysurfing is similar to freestyle. The difference is that the athlete is wearing a wide ski.

Kitesurfing - riding a board with a kite-shaped traction.

BASE jumping - jumping with a parachute from the roofs of buildings, bridges, cliffs and antennas.

BASE jumping is rightly considered a more dangerous type of hobby than its ancestor - parachuting. The difference is that in parachuting jumps occur from much higher heights, to which athletes are delivered using aircraft (airplanes, helicopters, balloons, etc.). At the same time, the recommended distance to the ground at which it is necessary to open the parachute is about 500-600 meters. In this case, if the main parachute fails, the person has 10-11 seconds to free himself from the inoperative one and deploy the reserve parachute. BASE jumpers jump from a much lower height and the entire flight usually takes less than 6 seconds. The reserve parachute simply becomes useless. The problem is that due to the lower rate of fall, the required exhaust force of the pilot chute to open the main canopy is simply not enough. Therefore, traditional parachutes are not suitable for BASE jumping. For this extreme hobby, special backpacks and parachutes are developed, equipped with large exhaust domes.

Despite the enormous risk, BASE jumping remains a fairly popular, albeit deadly, form of extreme sports. BASE jumpers, like miners, make mistakes once in a lifetime. The price of a mistake is severe injury or death.

Bungee jumping - jumping using an elastic rope from special platforms installed at a height.

The peculiarity of this type of extreme sports is that the jump does not require special skills or preliminary training, although there are medical contraindications to this type of entertainment.

The very idea of bungee jumping is borrowed from the ritual jumping of some tribes of the Pacific islands. The natives built high bamboo towers and jumped from them with vines attached to their ankles. Under the tower, where the jumper landed, the ground was carefully loosened to prevent spinal injuries. The meaning of the ritual was to unite with the earth to obtain a rich harvest. The most successful jumps were considered to be those in which the jumping person would touch the ground with his head. The jumps were carried out by teenagers and men of the tribe.

Currently, bungee jumping (bunge jumping) is the safest type of extreme hobby for people, which does not require any equipment or special training from those wishing to experience the adrenaline rush. Therefore, it has become a very popular and widespread form of extreme sports.

Rope jumping - jumping using climbing equipment from different high-altitude objects.

Climbing ropes and equipment are used as equipment for this kind of extreme sports. Ropes can be of different types, but the most common are dynamic ones, as they have the best shock-absorbing properties. The equipment is selected either full or “top-bottom”, with wide belts. This helps prevent spinal injuries.

Rocks, cranes, high-rise buildings or bridges are most often used as objects for rope jumping.

Ropejumper flies in free fall, sometimes performing acrobatic tricks in flight. The ideal choice is to select a rope and calculate a trajectory in which the end of the fall smoothly turns into pendulum movements.

In terms of the feeling of jumping, rope jumping can be put on a par with such types of extreme hobbies as base jumping and bungee jumping.

Nowadays, rope jumping is a fairly popular form of extreme hobby.

Balloon flights are flights in balloons inflated, most often, with hot air.

Hang gliding - flying on hang gliders.

Parachuting - landing with precision, showing figures in free fall.

Group acrobatics - performing various figures by a group of parachutists in free fall.

Canopy acrobatics - building figures with parachute canopies.

Water extreme sports:

Diving - immersion (diving), most often with scuba gear.

Diving equipment can be as simple as a mask, snorkels and fins, or as complex as closed circuit breathing apparatus, special suits and devices.

Diving using open-type breathing apparatus - scuba gear - has gained the most popularity.

In closed-type devices, the air, after exhalation, passes through special filters that absorb carbon dioxide. It is then enriched with oxygen and supplied again for the next breath. In open-type devices, exhalation occurs into the water. For shallow depths, compressed air is used as the breathing mixture.

Currently, this type of extreme sport such as diving, using scuba gear, can be found at any seaside resort in the world. Just a few theoretical lessons in certified organizations that train beginners and, in the absence of medical contraindications, you can dive with the participation of an experienced instructor.

Cave diving - scuba diving in underwater caves.

Wakeboarding is jumping on waves from a boat towing an athlete.

Surfing - sliding along the slope of a wave on a surfboard.

Windsurfing - a surfboard equipped with an oblique sail on a movable hinge is used.

The main areas of windsurfing are:

1. Olympic class - all competition participants use the same surfboards from the same manufacturer, designed for performances in a wide range of wind strengths.

2. Racing class - boards of this class must meet the following requirements: width up to 1 meter, fin up to 0.7 meters, sail area should not exceed 12.5 square meters.

3. Slalom - for this class it is regulated: width up to 0.8 meters, sail area no more than 10 square meters. An athlete can enter up to 4 different sails and 2 types of boards for different conditions.

4. Freestyle - a distinctive feature of this class is that both the beauty and complexity of the figures performed in a regulated amount of time are assessed.

5. SuperX or super cross - a feature is the need to perform tricks and overcome obstacles regulated by the racing instructions.

6. Wave - one of the most spectacular areas of windsurfing. Competitions take place on breaking waves. The beauty, complexity of the tricks and the athlete’s ability to control the board on the wave are assessed.

Surfing and windsurfing are gaining more and more popularity every year, not only as a sport, but also as a form of extreme hobby and recreation.

It would be correct to mention that a surf culture has emerged, including both external manifestations: the style of beachwear, surf music, literature and cinema, and an internal - philosophical component.

Kayaking - river rafting or competition in a kayak boat.

Rafting - too, only on inflatable rafts, as well as a kayak or canoe.

Terrestrial extreme sports are very diverse. Main directions:

Parkour is a tempo overcoming of obstacles in the form of buildings, fences, etc. in the city.

Currently, the number of parkour fans is steadily growing, which is reflected in cinema.

Freerunning is a type of parkour. The difference is that there is no starting and ending point of the path.

Skateboarding - rollerblading on the streets, in special ramps, swimming pools, etc.

Street logging is a type of skateboarding. Descent, lying on a board, along a road with a slope.

Extreme rollers - a set of tricks like in skateboarding. Performed on roller skates.

Freestyle moto - jumping, showing beautiful elements on a motorcycle.

Building - conquering high-rise structures and buildings.

Akrostreet - acrobatic exercises performed on the street.

BMX - all kinds of tricks and jumps on special bicycles.

Underground extreme is:

Speleology - descent into caves using climbing equipment.

Spelestology is an underground journey through underground structures and communications of non-natural origin.

Mountain extreme:

Rock climbing - climbing an almost vertical rocky wall, indoors along a vertical wall with ledges.

Mountaineering - climbing to the top of a mountain.

Ice climbing is climbing an almost vertical ice surface.

Mountain biking - riding in mountainous areas on bicycles.

Downhill is a descent down an unprepared mountain slope on a bicycle.

Freeride - descending an unprepared mountain slope on a bicycle (along a snow-covered mountain slope on alpine skis or snowboarding).

Canyoning - overcoming canyons.

This is not a complete list of extreme sports. Most of them are either an extreme development of a particular sport, or an initially extreme sport. Many main types of extreme hobbies have branches, the number of which is growing all the time. It should be noted that most types of extreme sports, although very dangerous, are very spectacular.

Extreme sports, attracting with their beauty and originality, become an excellent background for the development of the plots of many feature films, which also adds interest to them among young people.

Vladislav Gurov, the organizer and ideologist of the ReQuest and VeloEzhishka cycling competitions, spoke in an interview with the Velomesto project about the preparation, financing of his events, about the people who race around the city in search of answers to tasks, as well as about the first bicycle excursion, which he will conduct on April 13 as part of project “Cycling of St. Petersburg”, and about the next game, which will take place on April 27.

Velomesto: Tell us about what a bike quest is?

Vladislav Gurov: In a broad sense, a quest is a search. Quests are games where participants are asked to find something quickly, then it’s a matter of variations. Recently, such games have become quite popular; they are organized both for anyone and for closed groups, for example, as part of team building and corporate events.

Bicycle quests, accordingly, involve the use of a bicycle and, sometimes, roller skates as the main means of transportation. This allows you to significantly expand the playing area of the quest, and therefore diversify the tasks.

ReQuest has two more specific features: firstly, tasks are formulated using logical riddles. This makes ReQuest not just a bicycle orienteering exercise, but a kind of intellectual game. At the same time, the organizers are interested in participants visiting as many game points as possible, so the tasks are made relatively simple and accessible to the majority. The second feature of ReQuest is that various cultural places of the city are selected as playing points. These can be either official sculptures, monuments, historical buildings, museums, or informal attractions. Thus, ReQuest is a team competition with elements of a logic game, a cycling competition and a sightseeing tour.

V.: How many people are involved in organizing the quest and what do they do?

V.G.: There are currently four people in the organizing team. Sasha and Galya organize the game process - from preparing tasks to calculating the results. This is the part of organizational work that each participant directly encounters. My area of responsibility includes communication with partners, the media and the city administration. Misha provides full technical support and designs. In general, it cannot be said that everyone deals only with a specific block of tasks - on any issue we consult and help each other.

Organizing Committee of ReQuest

V.: How did you come up with the idea for cycling quests?

V.G.: The idea of a cycling quest appeared thanks to our common passion for cycling and many years of hobby. For Sasha these were intellectual games, for me - excursions to the informal sights of St. Petersburg. These components became the basis of the project. They not only set it apart from other quests, but also make ReQuest a developing event - intellectually, culturally and physically.

V.: How long does it take to prepare for a competition, and what do you do during that time?

V.G.: As a rule, the process begins two months in advance, although individual steps can be taken earlier. After determining the area of the upcoming quest, a careful selection of game points begins. At the same time, negotiations are underway with potential partners working in sports, cultural and any other field. This is the most time-consuming stage. And just before the quest itself, the most active stage begins, when it is necessary to prepare the starting and finishing areas and provide the teams with everything they need. At this moment it is important to pay attention to every little detail; The organizers' task is to ensure that the participants enjoy the game process and are not preoccupied with distracting everyday issues.

V.: How are assignments created? This is a whole lot of work!

V.G.: Indeed, the formulation of tasks is one of the most labor-intensive processes in an organization. When preparing the tasks themselves, we try not to limit ourselves, not to act within the framework of stereotypes. This is not the first time many teams have taken part in our quests, which means they also need to be surprised. Therefore, we experiment, come up with new types: puzzles, riddles, diagrams and maps, puns, descriptive tasks. No special knowledge is required, and often a healthy sense of humor and ordinary ingenuity help much more.

V.: What difficulties do you encounter while preparing and conducting quests?

V.G.: Perhaps it was just luck, but so far the most serious problem in preparing our quests was that at the start of winter events the fifth point was very frozen.

V.: Is it difficult to coordinate competitions with the administration?

V.G.: So far, the experience of interaction between our project and the city administration has been extremely positive. When there were a lot of participants, we notified the district administration about the events being held, and they helped us organize the starting and finishing areas. The finish is especially important because... During the calculation of the results, it is necessary to place the participants with their transport in one place - warm, comfortable and safe in terms of storing bicycles. Coordination of all further ongoing activities did not raise any problems or questions. I’m also glad that with each quest we manage to find contacts with the administration of new districts more easily and quickly, thanks to positive reviews of the previous ones.

V.: How is cycling quest financed?

V.G.: The first quest showed that the event is interesting not only to the participants - the partners are also willing to interact. They provide prizes and act as sponsors. And not only those organizations that are somehow connected with cycling by occupation, but also simply those who are close to active youth events. Vivid examples are the Coffee Museum, the Telephone History Museum, CheckPoint and Pyshka-Pyshka coffee shops. Having no direct connection to cycling life or mind games, they expressed their willingness to act as gaming points. Museums became cultural partners, providing special exhibits from their unique collections for tasks, as well as visiting tickets for quest participants. The coffee shop and crumpet shop warmed the participants in the midst of the quest and replenished their strength with baked goods. These are just a few examples; in fact, companies are willing to take part in the quest, and we often get a positive response.

It’s especially nice to see that establishments are no longer biased towards cyclists and are increasingly accepting them as ordinary visitors, and sometimes even warmer.

V.: What kind of people participate in quests?

V.G.: The quest was initially aimed at young people over 18 years old, but practice has shown that age is far from the main characteristic of our participants. Much more important is activity and curiosity. Past events have involved teams made up of students, young couples, fathers and children, even retirees. Therefore, we are happy to welcome everyone who cares about bicycles, the history of their hometown and logical riddles on our next quests.

V.: Tell me about a funny incident that happened during preparation or during competitions.

V.G.: Of course, we often encounter funny situations both during preparation and during the gameplay. For example, one of the tasks in the third quest was the party affiliation of a certain chef, which caused confusion among the participants. The fact is that on Krestovsky Island there is a zoo named after Cheburashka, in which a remarkable poster hangs near the enclosure with ostriches: it urges you not to try to ask to cook these ostriches, because... The chef belongs to the "green" party. In one of the tasks, the address of the zoo was guessed, but there was bad luck: there are as many as two restaurants next to it. And since not all teams thought to look for the answer in the zoo, some went to “torture” employees of nearby catering establishments. The participants say that they managed to put almost the entire staff on their ears! Imagine the surprise of the chef, who is called from the kitchen by the waiters, under the pretext that some cyclists are interested in his party affiliation! Moreover, there were several such teams and the chef readily told everyone that he was a non-partisan. At the finish line, both participants and organizers laughed heartily at this incident. But in general, we were, of course, pleased that the unusual questions of people on bicycles were received warmly and cordially. This is cool!

V.: What are your plans for the future? What will be the next bike quest?

V.G.: Immediate plans for the future: get some sleep! ;)

And the quest, of course, will be even more interesting than all the previous ones! It will take place on April 27 - registration has already begun. We always post all the information in our VKontakte group and on our website. You can also ask questions in the group, and we will be happy to answer everyone.

V.: Are you going to hold cycling quests in other cities? Or maybe you have friends who are ready to learn from your experience and start organizing cycling quests in their city?

V.G.: Now we are developing the quest in St. Petersburg, organizing events once a season. The idea of expanding the geography was also discussed; it is possible to hold events in large cities of the Leningrad region. We are also ready to share experience, establish partnerships and provide all possible assistance to proactive organizers from other cities, and the first steps in this direction have already been taken.

V.: On April 13, you will take your first bike ride around St. Petersburg, organized by the “Cycling of St. Petersburg.” How often will bike tours be held? Tell us about some secret place from the first route.

V.G.: The project is just starting. I think we will conduct walks once a week or once every two weeks, we will decide after the first excursions. I won’t tell you the route of the first walk, but I will say that it will be interesting and educational, starting at the Champs de Mars at 15:00. At the moment, this is an absolutely social project aimed at developing the cycling world of St. Petersburg.

We will be glad to see readers of the magazine at our events. We hope that the Velomesto team will take part in our city event again.

V.: Thank you, Vlad! One of your cycling quests, in which we participated, gave us an unforgettable experience. We wish you wonderful weather for tomorrow and at all your games and excursions, and we advise the guys from other cities to urgently take over the baton!

This is an exciting team cycling game to get to know the city and navigate it, which has been actively developing in our city for 2 years. The game is a team game, but if you don’t have your own team, the organizers will find you a company.
The essence of the game is to find all the places encrypted in the quest tasks in the minimum time. In order to guess the tasks, you need to receive hints for which you will be required to complete a specific task. The team that correctly solves all the tasks the fastest wins.
Goals and objectives of Veloquest:
Civic and patriotic education of youth through the organization of leisure activities with an emphasis on studying the history of their hometown.
Tasks:
- Awakening young people’s interest in the history of the city;
- organization of cultural leisure for the city’s youth;
- study by project participants of the history of memorable and significant places of the city.
Rules for the bike quest:
Veloquest is a bicycle race through the city streets. The participant, based on his well-being and level of bicycle ownership, makes his own decision on overcoming obstacles and is responsible for his safety and the safety of his property.
The route is a set of 10 encrypted points, each of them is located in a historically important place in the city. Passing the route, tactics and route are chosen by the team independently. Checkpoints in the form of codes are marked on the route sheet. Taking all 10 codes is mandatory. The code is issued by the agent after the team passes a sports or intellectual test. In case of failure to enter the code, the team member will be assessed a fine of 10 minutes for each code not entered.
The cycle quest starts simultaneously.
The control time for completing the entire route is set by the Organizer and indicated in the legend.
After completing the route, the cards are handed over to the competition judges at the finish line.
Calculation and announcement of results:
The Team's result is calculated by the number of points (the scoring system is announced at the pre-start briefing and in the legend).
In the event of an equal number of points, the lowest recorded finishing time is taken into account.
The number of points may be influenced by bonuses received by the Team for overcoming obstacles and taking additional points.
The results of the competition are announced after the points are calculated at the finish site.
Participants:
Only individuals over the age of 14 are allowed to participate.
The team must consist of at least two and no more than five people.
The number of Teams is not limited.
All participants are given diplomas for completing the Veloquest
Winners and runners-up receive valuable prizes from the organizers.

This is not just an idea! This is a specific proposal for organizing turnkey cycling team building for a company of 15 to 250 people in Moscow, the Moscow region and the region.

Walk, bike quest or bike tour?

The choice is yours!

You can simply enjoy the picturesque views, fresh air and outdoor activities.

Or maybe add puzzles, secret hiding places and surprises? A bicycle quest is a very unusual corporate event even for the most spoiled company.

Do you want to organize an event with a decent cultural program? Book a bike tour filled with interesting historical facts.

How does sports team building on bicycles work?

  • Company employees gather at a special site from which the route begins (if necessary, buses will be organized for participants to the start and finish)
  • Each employee receives a bicycle prepared for travel (specialists help adjust the handlebars and seat)
  • Detailed instructions. The route is known and approved in detail in advance; if desired, you can use a navigator, but before the arrival, possible difficulties are once again spelled out and safety rules are repeated.
  • Company employees go through the route accompanied by experienced instructors
  • Professional photography is carried out at each stage
  • At the end of the route you can organize a picnic and entertainment program

It's difficult?

There are several options, so for each specific company a route is selected that most employees can handle:

  • Ride through bicycle-friendly squares and parks within the Moscow Ring Road. Can be combined with an interesting excursion to the historical places of the city. Suitable for employees with little cycling experience.
  • Route around Moscow (30 km from MKAD). This is a one-day trip, the difficulty of the route may also vary. The most difficult option is a dirt road with large descents and long ascents, forest areas (in some cases the bike needs to be carried over fallen trees), crossing small streams, etc.
  • One-day or two-day trip around the Moscow region. There will be areas with different terrain, cities and villages, and recreation in picturesque places in the region.

The purpose of a corporate cycling tour is recreation and team building, not a competition of speed and endurance, so there is no need to worry about heavy physical activity.

Example routes

Route Frunzenskaya
Kilometers: 10 km.
Surface in soil/asphalt ratio (30/70)
Difficulty: easy
Features: Small squares and parks alternate with quiet secondary roads in the central part of the city. You need to cross the road several times.

Vernadsky's route
Kilometers: 18 km.
Surface in soil/asphalt ratio (60/40)
Difficulty: easy
Features: park areas alternate with quiet secondary roads. You need to cross the road several times

Route Shchukinskaya
Kilometers: 21 km.
Surface in soil/asphalt ratio (70/30)
Difficulty: easy
Features: park areas alternate with quiet secondary roads. You need to cross the road several times.

Myakinino route
Kilometers: 22 km.

Difficulty: medium-high
Features: massive forested areas. The terrain is very rough in places. There are some bumpy spots

Route Meshchersky
Kilometers: 21 km.
Surface in soil/asphalt ratio (80/20)

Where to begin?

Preparation for the event includes several stages:

  • discussion of the idea with the manager (it is important to know the exact number of participants, age, level of physical fitness, goals and objectives of team building)
  • detailed development of the route by the organizers of the corporate cycling tour, preparation of a presentation with photographs of the route (frames are taken every 300 meters). Possible visit of a company representative
  • choice of additional services (transport to the start and finish, meals, T-shirt printing, ordering award cups, cultural program, etc.)
  • drawing up a general estimate and prepayment schedule

How to order?

Contact me in any convenient way, I will organize a consultation with the responsible manager.

One of the most popular and favorite entertainment among cyclists is bicycle quests. This is an intellectual and logical game that requires a person to have good physical fitness, knowledge of the territory in which the quest is being held, as well as intelligence, dexterity and the ability to think associatively. But to participate in the quest, and even more so to win, you need to know the rules and all the nuances of the game.

Sofia Gorobchenko, website

Spring is in full swing. And with the onset of suitable weather, the season opens with cyclists, who take out their “iron horses” and prepare them for use. Although many of them did not hide their bikes, actively riding even in winter.

Actually, winter skiing has its own special charm. For professionals, deep snow and ice are not a hindrance, but a welcome change. Moreover, you can install “studded” wheels. The only thing that can stop a cyclist in the winter season is severe frosts.

But still, spring is considered the beginning of the heyday of the cycling season. As soon as the snow melts and the roads dry out, hundreds of bikers go out for rides. One of the most popular and favorite entertainment among cyclists is bicycle quests. This is an intellectual and logical game that requires a person to have good physical fitness, knowledge of the territory in which the quest is being held, as well as intelligence, dexterity and the ability to think associatively. Quests can be walking, cycling, driving, etc.

Many extreme sports enthusiasts consider cycling quests the most interesting, since they allow you to cover large areas (settled areas, off-road terrain, forests, rocky areas, isolated abandoned buildings, etc.), move quickly and not depend on civilization. A bicycle can travel where the road is not suitable for a car, and for a pedestrian, distances that bikers can easily cover in a few hours may be impossible to overcome in the whole day.

Therefore, cycling quest is a fairly universal game. You also get a lot of physical activity - in addition to riding fast with obstacles, you also sometimes have to carry the bike on yourself, but this is only if the terrain is very harsh. You are completely autonomous - no dependence on the amount of gasoline in the tank. Interesting tasks (this is the merit of the organizers) make the game process exciting, and the unknown (the results of the quest and the determination of the winner is possible only after all participants finish and count the points) adds adrenaline. All this adds up to a combustible and incredibly attractive cocktail of emotions, feelings and sensations.

The number, complexity and interestingness of cycling quest tasks depends largely on the organizers, but the participants in the game also influence the process. A specific locality or territory is selected for the quest (say, a forest or mountain range). Participants are divided into teams of 2-4 people. The optimal number of teams is 3-5, since with a smaller number of participants the game becomes competition rather than entertainment, and with a larger number, confusion begins and teams can interfere with each other.

At the start, participants receive a task, a map of the area or other auxiliary materials (if necessary), a table for filling out the results and first instructions. Each quest consists of several separate tasks, which can be related to each other (linear) or independent (non-linear). Often during the game, participants are given additional tasks.

The task is a kind of riddle, a rebus, after solving which the team receives an indication of the place where codes or intermediate clues are hidden, which will later help solve other tasks. If the participants are given a task: to find a code, they go to the specified place and look for a special VQ (velo quest) mark. This is where the fun begins. At a distance of 50-100 meters from the mark, a code is hidden, which can be a word, a combination of words, or consist of letters, numbers, and other characters. Moreover, you can hide it wherever your heart desires: on a tree or pole, under a piece of slate, in a sewer well, in the darkest corner of an abandoned room. There are no limits to the organizers' imagination.

Sometimes participants can get help from people in the surrounding area. Moreover, both “stand-ins” - specially located on the spot and knowing the answers to your questions - and simply strangers who saw or heard something. After all, some owners of the premises, near which the organizers put marks, monitor everything that concerns their property and surrounding areas. Thus, do not hesitate to ask watchmen, neighbors or just passers-by for help. It might come in handy.

You can also get a hint from the organizers. Moreover, tips can be “paid” (you have to pay in precious minutes, i.e. penalty minutes will be added to your total time) or free - a leading question, a hint, or just a consultation.

The main essence of the quest is to complete all tasks in the shortest possible time. But there are many ways to achieve this. So, among the most popular strategies:

  1. use your brain and take as few “paid” tips as possible;
  2. take hints during the game, but drive at high speed to compensate for the penalty time;
  3. take all the clues at once, determine where to look for codes, create the optimal route and overcome it at maximum speed;
  4. use dishonest methods of obtaining information (monitor the actions of competitors, trick them out of tips, eavesdrop). True, you risk running into trouble and getting disqualified.

Among the important rules of the bike quest, there is one more: the team must always stick together, you cannot split up and complete tasks in parallel. The team's time for completing tasks stops only after the last team member reaches the finish line.

A well-prepared, well-coordinated team that acts as one, in which each participant has his place, has a great chance of winning. In addition, each team must have a leader who not only maintains order and sets the pace of the ride, but also creates a working, friendly atmosphere. The most ideal option is when the team also has a “think tank” (a person who is best at solving puzzles and riddles and knows the area well), a search engine (who can determine the most likely places for hidden codes and quickly find them) and a navigator (who can handle a map, navigates the cardinal directions, and is able to quickly perform mathematical calculations). Such a team has a very significant chance of success. Sometimes one team member can perform several activities.

Participation in cycling quests develops in cyclists not only logical thinking and attentiveness, but also team spirit, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to trust and rely on each other. In addition, this is simply an incredibly interesting and exciting active holiday for extreme sports enthusiasts. It is not for nothing that there is an opinion that a bicycle is a means of transportation for the soul, unlike other types of transport.
