And all because I’m not a big fan of such adventures and prefer to achieve my goals on my own (in this case, to lose the remaining couple of kilos to the desired weight). BS is actively promoting on Instagram, it was difficult not to notice it when attractive collages with before/after photos flashed every now and then.
I’ve been watching my diet and playing sports for a long time, but at some point I thought, maybe I’m missing something, and there is a miracle training system that leads to impressive results in a short time. Let it be an experiment and bought participation in the project. I paid 3500 and got access to the internal site.
As it turned out, this money does not guarantee that the game will not end for me in a week.

What's the point?

To compete for prizes, let's call it that, you need to take a good photo. In drying they are very confused about this. I redid the photo 3 times. In my opinion, this is a real waste of time, especially when you quickly took photos in the morning, and only in the evening they answer you where the shortcomings are and should be corrected. My goal was not prizes; after several rejected photographs, I did not take photographs again.

2. Daily training excluding Sunday.
Every day you receive a newsletter with a workout for the next day. It took me 20-30 minutes, a couple of times it was a little longer. If you wish, you can find these workouts on the Internet, many people have written about them - this is not so secret information. The exercises themselves are banal, but to their credit, the order, number of laps, and types of exercises changed every day. It wasn’t boring (and that was important for me). As a rule, in addition to the main workout, there were always special tasks: 700 squats or 10 minutes of planks per day. It sounded scary. But I broke them down into parts throughout the day (those are the rules) and calmly followed them.

3. Judgment Day (flight mission)
Once a week it was necessary to record a video with a flight task. The most recent was: 2 minutes of planks and then 3 minutes of burpees (how much you jump). It is assumed that if you do not do daily training, then it is not a fact that you will be able to complete the doomsday task. It was really not easy, but for me it was more difficult and time-consuming to find when and where to film it all.

What can I say?
The first week of drying was for me most annoying. I was waiting for someone to explain how to write daily reports, what to write in them, whether the speed of training is important, whether a heart rate monitor is needed. In the second week, I've come to terms with it with the fact that I don’t understand what this whole idea is for and I was just doing the training. I realized that not all questions can and should be asked in a general chat, opinions vary and there is no truth. After surviving 2 days of judgment, I became confident that I was doing everything right. And I trained further, without competing with anyone. I started writing cute reports to the minions, although at the beginning it seemed to me that stupidity. In general, I got a little involved in the game. On the third judgment day there was even a little exciting, will I make it through the last week. But only a little. And the fourth week passed calmly, without sadness or melancholy that the project was over.

I carried out all my workouts responsibly despite my skepticism, but my weight remained unchanged after a month and my volume went down by 1-2 cm. Conclusion: drying is not a miracle method for losing weight. At least not my method, since I initially approached it at a good weight, and the loads were too weak for me. Was the project worth the money? No and no again. Only if I were a gambling person and paying for BS as an opportunity to get more valuable prizes and recoup the cost. What new have I learned? Nothing. I just added a few exercises to my home workout kit. Disappointed that you haven't lost weight? Perhaps yes, but it was expected. The difference in my photos is very minimal. Will I still take part in the BS? Absolutely not. But the habit of daily training remained, and I have already outlined a training plan for the coming months.

And to make it clearer whether BS is worth participating, here are the pros and cons.

Every Friday you need to prove that you really worked out: Friday is a little “judgment day” when you have to perform one or more exercises on camera and send the video to your minion assistants.

Cheat: It’s best to complete all tasks with music, for which you simply need sports headphones - so that they don’t fly out of your ears, and sweat doesn’t ruin the accessory. They helped me a lot in completing my assignments. These are the headphones from Philips and playlists from Apple Music.

If you honestly practiced every day, standing in a plank for 1.5 minutes or in a “chair” does not cause any difficulties. And they won’t demand more from you.

You'll spend the entire weekend of your final week taking "after" photos because you didn't realize the importance of this process at the very beginning when you took the "before" photos.

By this time, you will be able to easily perform all the exercises, you will begin to feel better, you will learn to eat properly and drink water, and those jeans that have been too small for you for a long time will suddenly fit perfectly.

I guarantee it

Yes, you yourself will notice the changes when you make a collage of photographs: looking at a photo of yourself before and after the course, it is impossible not to notice the difference. But only if you didn’t shirk and really wanted to achieve results.

After your sweat- and nerve-wracking photos are accepted and approved by the minions, you can relax and participate in the voting. The winners of the season are chosen by the participants themselves, who vote for the most obvious result based on the results of the Crazy Drying course.

I’ll say right away: I didn’t take first place and didn’t win 3 million rubles. I didn’t even take the first 100 places - I stopped at 178th position. But it is not important. The main thing is that I lost 8 kilograms, improved my endurance skills and improved my health.

I didn’t even try to do it in the morning because I generally don’t function well in the morning. And in the evening I cope with the load easier, so here we need to proceed from the characteristics of the body.
In addition, I realized for myself that the “task of the day” needs to be done BEFORE the circuit training. Because after the circular motion there is no force at all!
In the first days, the muscles hurt incredibly! My legs and arms hurt a lot (after squats and push-ups). Despite the muscle pain, you must continue to train every day. If you do a good warm-up before the circuit (I like the aerobic version), then you won’t feel muscle pain at all during the workout!
On Thursday, for the first time, I got out of bed quite cheerfully with a slight pain in my muscles. The body gradually gets used to it - the main thing is to endure the first week.

In the third week again every day there were different training sessions!
In the third week, all the same nutrition rules were adopted: B/F/U - 40/30/30
(if you lost kilos in the first 2 weeks, then you need to enter the new weight into the calorie calculator and find out the new amount of calories consumed). We still continue to drink a lot of water - ideally 2-3 liters.
We still have contrast showers in the mornings!

Attention! New! In the third week we start running! Every day, 40 minutes a day! While running we sing or recite poems!

Monday: Monday is a hard day
The training consists of 3 parts:

The game begins

A couple of weeks before summer, it dawned on me that it’s still not so great that I can put on a swimsuit and go to the beach - at best, I can roll out on it in a fat little bun. And then the almighty targeting gave me the idea to participate in the next season of Mad Drying.

This project gained wild popularity, firstly, thanks to the strange charisma of Vasily Smolny (he’s like Lena Miro, only male and charming), and secondly, thanks to the prizes. The best dryers receive a Mini-Cooper, a million rubles or a certificate for breast enlargement, and this season there are also one hundred more prizes of thirty thousand each.

Why not, I decided, why give up the opportunity to both lose weight and earn extra money?

If only I knew...

Rules of the game

There are a lot of rules in Mad Drying, violation of which can lead to elimination from the project. And the very first rule is don’t be stupid. As it turns out, this is also the most important thing. Under no circumstances should you ask questions to Smolny on Instagram. And even in a personal meeting it’s not worth it. Never ever. I wonder why? (Stop, stop, that wasn’t a question for Smolny!). Well, of course, you can’t insult anyone or cheat. You can't advertise anything. And for some reason, write posts with the hashtag #rabidzozhnik.

Every day for four weeks, Mad Drying offers certain tasks that you can complete or not complete. But on Saturday, you need to do and film a “Task for Relegation” - whoever completed it plays further, the rest are expected in the next seasons.

Mission reports are checked by the cutest creatures in the world - minions who love, encourage and console us. Regularly receiving banana hugs, warm words and green checks helps you last the whole month.

In terms of nutrition in Sushka, everything is simple and banal: 40% carbohydrates, a complete ban on all sweets and joys, except for one cheat meal on Sunday, a fairly high calorie intake, which, however, is compensated by a fairly high energy expenditure.

Week 1

There is one more contraindication for Mad Drying: I would not recommend participation for people suffering from such a rare disease as arithmophobia - this is the fear of
big numbers. Because in the first week the dryers consistently did:

  • 700 squats
  • 300 push-ups
  • 600 jumping lunges
  • 200 burpees
  • 1000 climbers.

And so that it wouldn’t be too easy, every morning began with a circuit training code-named “Die, but do it”:

6 exercises, 4 circuits, rest between circuits 1 minute

  • 20 squats
  • 10 push-ups
  • 20 hyperextensions
  • 5 burpees
  • 25 sit-ups
  • 1 min. bar

By the way, the drying community has adopted its own vocabulary, which is slightly offensive to the eyes of a shy girl. And where all the dryers do “horizhops” and “sysepols,” I modestly do deep squats and push-ups.

Judgment Day

Saturday is the day of the flight mission. In the first week, you had to do the maximum number of burpees in one and a half minutes, film it all and
post on YouTube.

At the same time, the minimum required number of burpees is not specified at all, that’s where the horror lies.

In the first week, a little more than a thousand people flew out of Sushka - those whose execution technique turned out to be incorrect, those who posted a video but forgot to make it available via the link, those who did not manage to post the report before 23:59, and those who did too little in 90 seconds. They say that last season everyone who did 14 burpees received a test, and this time they passed with 12.

By the way, I did 26.

It's not that difficult.
