Where did Arshavin study? Expectations are not a problem

Even before the 2018 FIFA World Cup, many fans asked the coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov to return Andrei Arshavin to the team, but this did not happen. The footballer himself is not offended by this and hopes that the Russian team will perform well in this championship.

To date, Arshavin plays for the Kazakh "Ayrat" and so far is not going to leave this football club. The football player said that so far he has not received offers to move to play in other clubs.

Russian fans, of course, are offended that Andrei Arshavin is not in the Russian team. Many believe that he could score a lot of goals against Russian opponents.

There is a lot of criticism of the coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov. He repeatedly said that Arshavin is a good football player who plays well. Cherchesov said that he saw him repeatedly in training and during the game.

The reason for the absence of a football player in the national team is not because someone did not want to take him. In fact, long before the start of the 2018 World Cup, it was decided that the Russian team would play in a young squad. Cherchesov believes that if Arshavin were 10 years younger, he would definitely come in handy in the national team at the 2018 World Cup.

In fact, the footballer was recorded in the "oldies", and Arshavin himself is no longer against taking a place in a football club, but not as a player.

Andrey Arshavin about the Russian team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup

Arshavin's excellent game did not go unnoticed, he was invited to many European clubs. But the leadership of Zenit rejected the proposals for a long time, which angered Andrei.

In early February 2009, the news reported that Arshavin had signed a contract with London's Arsenal until 2012.

After a month at Arsenal, Arshavin scored the first goal in the match against Blackburn. And although in the first half he received damage (after a collision with oyer during the break he was given eight stitches), but, nevertheless, the footballer came out in the second half.

Then Arshavin increasingly sat on the bench, came on as a substitute by the end of the game and received mostly low ratings.

In the game against Manchester United, Arshavin made a mistake, and his team scored the winning goal. Andrey Arshavin was recognized as the worst player of the match. It was rumored that the football player wants to return to Russia.

Before Euro 2012, in order to get playing practice, Andrei Arshavin returned to his native Zenit on loan. After the failure at the Euro, Arshavin was no longer needed anywhere and was simply serving a number at Arsenal.

When Arshavin's contract with Zenit expired in 2015, the club did not renew it.

For six months, Arshavin played in the Kuban, but terminated the contract by mutual agreement.

Andrei Arshavin's career in the Russian national team

For the Russian national team, Andrei Arshavin first got an application at the age of twenty. In the 2006-2007 season, he was appointed captain of the national team.

At Euro 2008, Andrey Arshavin could not play in the first two matches due to disqualification. For the first time he entered the field in a duel against Sweden. Russia won 2-0 and Arshavin was named man of the match.

With the Dutch team in the quarterfinals, Arshavin also performed well. He took part in all three goals scored by the Russian team. Andrey Arshavin scored the third goal himself. Andrey was recognized as the best for the second game in a row. Rave reviews from foreign journalists and football experts followed, and clubs, including his beloved Barcelona, dreamed of getting a football player into their squad.

According to the results of the championship, Russia took third place, and Andrey Arshavin got into the symbolic team of Euro 2008 as the best player in Russia. After a successful performance in the UEFA Cup and Euro 2008, Arshavin was among the contenders for the Golden Ball according to France Football magazine and took 6th place, which was the best result for a Russian football player after the collapse of the USSR. In voting, Arshavin was ahead of such players as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Fernando Torres, Iker Casillas and Xavi.

At the 2010 World Cup, Andrey Arshavin could not bring the Russian team forward, the Russians missed Slovenia. After that, there were accusations of the national team players of smoking a hookah, and Semyon Slepakov wrote the song "Little Member of the Russian Team" about the inactive Arshavin.

Euro 2012 for Andrei was again unsuccessful. After the defeat of Russia by the Greek national team in the final match of the group stage and elimination from the tournament, Arshavin caused outrage among the fans with one careless statement:

“The fact that we did not live up to your expectations is not our problem. It's your problems. We lost because we didn't score, but the Greeks scored. From these conversations, the result will not change anyway. ”

“It was possible not to leave any group, but not from that one, and even after a 4-1 victory over the Czechs at the start. Anyone could not be beaten, but not the Poles after the disgusting behavior of local football hooligans in relation to Russian fans. Greece became a punishment. And Andrei Arshavin then said the main words in his career about the "problems of the national team fans" that were alien to him. At the same time, Arshavin got tired of football even a little earlier, in London's Arsenal. There, in the citadel and cradle, he tasted its best examples, scored four goals for Liverpool at Anfield - what more? What else can I play, Andrey decided at some point and then he was only listed as a football player, receiving the prescribed salary for this. The word shadow does not fully convey his game over the past 4 years. Maybe a dybbuk? Well, something not from our world. But after all, his famous phrase was not born by chance, it just escaped due to the emotionality of the conversation, which differed from measured interviews. And this became almost the main message of the entire generation, because the echoes of this Arshavin phrase can be found in many modern football players. It's just that they're not so frank and speak a little floridly about some layman fans who know best how to play and would go out and try it themselves. And the message is the same. If you think that we are paid much more than what we deserve, these are your problems, ”SP wrote about the famous phrase and the results of Arshavin’s career in the article“ The End of Generation 08 ”.

It is known that the fans from love to hate - one step. Many things were remembered to Arshavin, including his drunken adventures in a London club and "an extinct, uninterested look in victory."

At Fabio Capello Arshavin stopped receiving calls to the national team, thus his total number of matches played for the national team was 74. In total, Arshavin scored 17 goals for the Russian national team and made 20 assists.

Andrei Arshavin's career in Kairat, return to Zenit

In November 2015, Arshavin began playing for the Kazakh football club Kairat. He was offered a contract until the end of 2017. The footballer did not rule out the possibility that after the expiration of the contract he will end his career. In 2017, "Kairat" with Arshavin became the owner of the Cup of Kazakhstan.

In 2018, the ex-captain of the Russian national team Andrey Arshavin was named the best player of the month in the championship of Kazakhstan for the second time in a row. In May, the 37-year-old football player played six matches for the Almaty Kairat, in which he scored one goal and gave two assists.

Recall that in April, Arshavin also received the award for the best player of the month, having chalked up three goals scored in four meetings.

At the end of 2017, a shadow flashed through the family idyll of Andrei and Alice.

The wife of Andrei Arshavin announced a break with her famous husband, and is also sure that his career in Kairat will end in two months. Alisa Kazmina spoke about this in response to a request to tell about the reasons why she left Arshavin.

“We broke up because I really did things that were wrong with Alice, and at some point I crossed all possible boundaries,” Arshavin exclusively shares with StarHit. — Yes, I walked and madly regret it. I understand that, unfortunately, you can’t turn back time, you can’t fix anything ... The only thing left to hope is that my wife will be able to forgive me and return.

By the way, speaking about how much her financial condition improved or worsened during the year of marriage with Arshavin, Alisa Kazmina admitted: “My financial condition worsened with the departure from my first husband to Andrei, to be honest. My ex-husband had no children, he did not have to pay 50 percent of alimony.

Indeed, soon Andrei Arshavin and Alisa Kazmina reconciled. It turned out that the rumors that the footballer’s next marriage was collapsing were “launched” by Kazmina herself with statements in social networks. The girl wrote that she was planning a divorce from Arshavin due to infidelity.

Mother usually yielded, so Andrei watched sports programs from childhood.

The father sat his son next to him and explained to him in detail all the subtleties of the game. It is not surprising that the ball became the boy's favorite toy. He did not part with him anywhere: at home, in the yard, even at school during breaks, Andrei filled the ball. Often he flew in through broken windows, but this only incited the nimble boy.

In childhood

One fine day, the mother realized that if his energy was not directed in a peaceful direction, there could be bigger troubles. She silently took her seven-year-old son by the hand and took her to the city football club. The coaches liked the boy, and they accepted him without problems.

Andrey was just happy that he is now engaged in this section. But the parents had a new cause for alarm - he just flew to every training session and spent many hours on the football field. Given that it took more than an hour to travel one way, there was practically no time left to study.

Then the parents set a strict condition: if academic performance suffers, football will have to be forgotten. The ultimatum gave its results, and Andrei pulled himself up. He became more independent and disciplined, and even managed to show the guys in the yard in the evening the new tricks that he had been taught in the section.

In high school, unexpectedly for everyone, he became interested in checkers and began to go to a circle at the Palace of Pioneers. But football still remained the main passion of his life. However, at that time he was not yet sure that he would become a professional athlete.

However, a year earlier, Arshavin had the opportunity to move to Spartak Moscow. He was already in serious talks with his then coach Oleg Romantsev. But when Oleg found out that all the players in the team have clearly regulated positions on the field, he refused.

At Zenit, he was a leading all-around player who could show up and play successfully almost anywhere on the pitch.

At the peak of fame

The year 2008 was truly successful for Arshavin, in which Zenit won two prestigious tournaments at once - the UEFA Cup and the European Super Cup. On the account of Arshavin himself in this marathon, there were as many as 10 balls. It was the sixth result in the world. He brought the player a nomination for the Golden Ball, but the prize went to Ronaldo.

But several leading football clubs turned to the leadership of Zenit at once with an offer to buy a successful player. Negotiations went on for several months and Arshavin already saw himself as part of Barcelona, offering 15 million euros for him. But the leadership of "Zenith" was greedy and asked for another 7 from above. Then Arshavin said that he was playing at Zenit for the last season.

Already in 2009, Arshavin played for Arsenal and for two and a half years he played simply brilliantly. However, since mid-2011, he began to increasingly find himself on the bench. And his exits on the field brought fans more disappointment than delight. Everyone began to talk about the fact that Arshavin was exhausted and wanted to return home.

Indeed, as soon as his contract with Arsenal ended in 2012, the athlete flew back to his homeland. There he was warmly welcomed by the leadership of his native Zenit, and the football player again signed a contract with the club, for a start, a two-year contract from 2013 to 2015.

Experts believe that today his football career is over. But the capital that he managed to earn allows him to lead a happy, prosperous life.

Personal life

For a long time, the girls were practically not interested in Andrei, who was passionately in love with football. If some novels happened, they did not develop into something serious, since Andrei had games and training in the first place. But finally there was a girl who could penetrate his heart.

In 2003, Andrei met the charming Yulia Baranovskaya at one of the secular parties. A passionate romance developed rapidly, and after a few months the couple began to live together. And in 2005, Julia gave Andrei her first child. But he never made her an offer of marriage.

With Yulia Baranovskaya

At first, Julia attributed this to the fact that Andrei was too passionate about his sports career, and the official marriage was not so important. But now they have a little daughter, and Yulia's marital status does not change ... Something went wrong, and the relationship began to weaken. Less and less Andrei spent time with the children, more and more Yulia felt lonely.

Returning in 2012 from the next training camp, Andrei categorically told Yulia that their relationship was over. Even the fact that the civil wife carried his third child, who was born in November 2012, did not stop him. An angry Yulia filed a lawsuit, and the proceedings, which lasted for three whole years, cost Arshavin a decent share of the earned fortune.

It turned out and a lot of interesting details from their personal lives. It turns out that all these nine years Andrei was not at all an exemplary spouse, and he periodically had novels on the side. Arshavin did not take any of them seriously, but the meeting with Alisa Kazmina turned out to be fatal - he fell in love again and left Yulia for her sake. In 2016, the couple signed, and on January 31, 2017, Alice gave birth to Andrei's fourth child.

In 2003, Andrei met a charming woman at one of the secular parties.
