What caused the death of Valentin Belkevich, the legendary Dynamo player. What was he silent about?

A beautiful romance and a luxurious wedding are not always followed by a long and happy family relationship. One of the brightest famous couples of the last decade had a chance to make sure of this on their own experience. Anna Sedokova and Valentin Belkevich, their marriage lasted less than two years, however, the history of these relations is of great public interest even after many years. One of the most successful football players in the country, and the star of the most popular girlish musical group, they were not embarrassed by either a ten-year age difference or other circumstances, but who would have thought that such a beautifully twisted relationship would come to naught so quickly and scandalously .

Anna Sedokova and Valentin Belkevich: a love story

Their relationship began quite by accident, the first husband of Anna Sedokova, Valentin Belkevich, ironically visited the same hairdresser as the performer. They often crossed paths in a salon located in Kyiv, but their communication was limited only to a greeting. After several months of such chance meetings, the football player got the phone number of the young person who charmed him, and one day he simply called and invited Anya to go bowling. From that very moment, their stormy romance begins, the 21-year-old girl truly fell in love for the first time, and Valentine also showed quite tender feelings for her. The young man was not even stopped by the fact that he himself was not free at that time, the football player had a civil wife named Lesya, with whom he lived for more than 10 years. Their relationship with Anna seemed to young people then only in a rosy light, and just five months after the start of a stormy romance, the performer discovered that she was pregnant. Naturally, the first person she told about this was Valentine, the football player was incredibly happy about this news, and immediately invited her lover to formalize their relationship.

The young artist was in love and happy, and she had no thoughts that the fairy tale might one day end. However, a few days before the happy marriage, the future spouse presented his beloved with a marriage contract for signature. As Anna later said, she was very hurt and even offended, but she did not want to quarrel on the eve of the wedding, so she did not even show it, and simply signed the papers, considering them to be a mere formality. Their wedding was one of the brightest and most publicized events of that time, and just three days later the first grandiose scandal took place. The newlyweds quarreled right at the airport, in front of the entire Dynamo team, flying to the training camp in Yalta. This trip was supposed to be a "honeymoon" for the spouses, and as a result, Valentine got angry and refused to help his pregnant wife with luggage, and the singer herself had to drag all the suitcases and bags.

Everyone who knew this famous couple personally was surprised how people so different in all respects could come together. Anya liked to draw attention to herself and always be at the center of the main events, and Valentin preferred to always stay on the sidelines, hated journalists, and did not want to discuss his personal life. However, for the sake of her beloved, the performer even decided to leave her successful career in the mega-popular VIA Gre, and turned into a housewife. She really tried to be an exemplary wife: she cooked, maintained comfort in the house and abandoned all social events. But this did not help to strengthen the family, and a chill ran between the spouses. Even when the couple had a baby daughter, Alina Belkevich, this did not help to improve relations. The husband began to return home later, and after that, at times he even spent the night outside the house. Anya cried, tried to talk, but this did not give any result, and later she found out that her husband was dating his ex-civil wife Lesya. As it turned out, it was this woman that he truly loved all his life, and the young performer was for him, though very strong, but still a fleeting hobby. When everything was revealed, Sedokova realized that their marriage had long been one big deceit, and therefore, she decided to just leave. Under the terms of the marriage contract, she was left with nothing, so she had to start everything from scratch. Belkevich's daughter stayed with her mother, after the divorce, her father, although he did not indulge the heiress with attention, helped financially. True, there was another attempt to reunite the couple, but it failed miserably, and Valentine nevertheless finally chose Lesya.

Death of Valentin Belkevich

After the divorce, for a long time, Anya claimed in an interview that the main reason for this was her husband's ban on her return to the big stage. But years later, the performer nevertheless admitted that she had lost in such a protracted struggle with her rival. The celebrity also noted that she maintains normal relations with her ex-spouse for the benefit of their common daughter, and never allowed herself to speak badly or disrespectfully about her father in her presence. It is only noteworthy that the ex-husband Anya never introduced his parents, and at the time of the tragic death of the football player, they had never even seen their only granddaughter.

His life in its prime was interrupted by a fatal blood clot. The football player, and later a successful coach, was only 41 years old at that time. Valentin passed away on August 1, 2014, the young man's heart suddenly stopped. As relatives say, everything happened just like lightning, in the evening in his own house the football player suddenly complained about a sharp deterioration in health, he sat down on the sofa and ... everything, the ambulance that arrived only recorded the fact of the death of a celebrity. He was buried in Kyiv, at the Baikove cemetery, they say that his parents wanted Valentin to rest in his native Minsk, but his widow Lesya insisted on the Ukrainian capital. Hundreds of people came to the farewell ceremony for the legend, they were friends, relatives, colleagues of the deceased, and ordinary Dynamo fans who were shocked by what had happened. Among those who saw off the footballer on his last journey, only his ex-wife Anna was not. The performer later explained her absence as follows: she believes that he had his own story and his own family, with whom she did not want to meet face to face. And Sedokova was never able to tell her daughter about what happened, who, although she rarely saw her father, loved him very much. Later, the girl learned about the tragedy by accident, from completely strangers, which was a real shock for her, the singer still cannot forgive herself for this.

Litigation for the inheritance of Valentin Belkevich

After the death of the famous football player, a lawsuit was launched for the legacy he left in the form of an expensive apartment in Kyiv, numerous sports awards, as well as a large amount of money. Since the athlete died suddenly and at a fairly young age, he did not leave any will, so the heirs decided to clear up their dispute and claims in court. It should be noted that in addition to legal litigation, an information war also began between Valentin's ex-wife Anna Sedokova and his widow Lesya Belkevich. The singer in an interview calls her rival nothing more than her husband's mistress and a homemaker, and also claims that Lesya does not get in touch and does not appear at a meeting in the courtroom.

In turn, the athlete's widow is outraged by such treatment, she lived with Valentin for more than 20 years, and even during his marriage to the performer, he kept in touch with her. It turns out that Lesya was before, after and even during their relationship with Anya, a constant woman in his life. She bears his last name, and Valentin raised her son from her first marriage as his own, by the way, many throughout this time thought that the boy was his son. The woman also calls a lie what Sedokova claims that she does not get in touch. Lesya notes that no one even tried to contact her or her lawyer, and she learned about the meeting after the fact, and she has no reason to delay the process.

Be that as it may, but the case has not moved forward so far, and to date, not a single court decision has been made.

More detailed statistics of Belkevich's performances by season can be found here.

Remembering all the years of your stay at Dynamo, which team of the year do you consider the strongest?
- With great respect for all the players and coaches, I consider the strongest team in 1999. By game, results, team spirit. Having gathered individually strong performers, Valery Lobanovsky united us with a high goal, taught us to play with the strongest clubs in Europe. The guys went to the matches with Barcelona and Juventus with excitement, but without jitters. We have learned to understand that we are no worse than the vaunted giants, and at the same time forced them to reckon with us.

Belkevich's career in Dynamo Kiev began hard - for two years after moving to the capital of Ukraine, he rarely appeared in the first team (at that time Jozsef Sabo was the Kiev coach), the situation changed with the return of Valery Lobanovsky to the club. He superbly interacted with a pair of forwards Shevchenko-Rebrov, making up the “shock” triangle of Dynamo. For the game model that Valery Lobanovsky brought to life, Belkevich became a necessary element of the Dynamo system - it was he who was the link between the reliable and rich defense of the Kyivans and the mobile attack represented by Shevchenko and Rebrov. It was he who organized the lion's share of the swift and devastating counterattacks that became Dynamo's signature style in the late 90s.

“In the fall of 1993, my knee hurt. He was treated by our club doctor, Vasily Maksimovich Dmitrakov. At that time, there were no doping controls in European competition matches. Therefore, no one kept a strict record of the use of medicines, medical procedures. It is today in Kyiv that every tablet and even the weight, pressure of the player for each day are entered into the computer memory. So you can restore the picture of well-being and a few years later. And then in Minsk, the club doctor just gave me injections of retabolil. After all, it is used not only to build muscle mass, but also to strengthen bones, which was what I needed. No one imagined that doping tests would begin next summer and, most importantly, that traces of the nandrolone contained in the drug remain in the body months later. Maksimych died in the spring, no medical records remained after him. And when all this happened in August, after the match with the Maltese, no one could give a clear explanation. Who to ask? I have. But how was I to know that I was injected six months ago? I'm not well versed in medicine. I think that I just became a victim of a combination of circumstances.

“I can only agree on Belkevich. He is 33 years old, he has been playing at a high level for many years, at the end of the year his contract expires, we will sit down with him and decide how he sees his fate. If he decides to finish with football, then please - we will find him a place in a sports school or a coach in the second team, especially since I know that Valik would very much like to be a coach.

In a TV interview dated 12/15/2006, Igor Surkis said that Valentin Belkevich, as a player, signed a contract with Dynamo for another year. On January 9, 2007, the UEFA website reported that Valentin Belkevich extended his contract with Dynamo Kyiv until the end of 2007. In December 2007, by mutual agreement of the club and the player, the contract between Dynamo and Valentin Belkevich was not extended. In June 2008, Belkevich signed a one-year contract with the Azerbaijani club Inter. However, having received an A coaching license in January 2009, by mutual agreement, he terminated the contract with Inter and ended his playing career.

Quite young, the ex-captain of Dynamo, his illustrious midfielder Valentin Belkevich, passed away. He was also a member of the Belarusian national team, and more recently a coach. All this is about Valentin Belkevich, who died at 41. He passed away on August 3, 2014.

The future star of Ukrainian football, originally from Belarus

Valentin was born on January 27, 1973 in Minsk. Little is known about his childhood and parental family. Mom Valentina Kapustina taught Russian at one of the Minsk institutes, her father was a historian. As a child, the boy was sent to the Children's and Youth Sports School for the football section. Most likely it was the initiative of the mother, since after the death of Belkevich, his coach Mikhail Bratchenya recalled that his father objected to his son playing football. This was due to the fact that Valentine did not shine in his studies, and his father sought to raise a successor to the dynasty of teachers. But football turned out to be the occupation where the guy showed the best qualities - he was making progress. But dad did not notice this, did not appreciate it and did not see the prospects - even the coach selected the form and sports shoes for the pupil.

At the same time, the parents were divorced, each built his own life and did not show consistency in relation to the vision of the future son. His grandmother had a great influence on the upbringing of Valik - at first she took him to training. Alexander Khatskevich was engaged in the same sports section with Belkevich. They were destined to meet again in life, but already as part of FC Dynamo. In the years of adolescence, the boys managed to drive the ball even after classes at the sports school, which made them very friends. At the same time, Khatskevich was more impulsive, and Valentin was more disciplined and obedient.

Football is like life

Valentin Belkevich played his first professional match as part of Dynamo Minsk in the 1991-1992 season. He twice received the title of champion of Belarus with the team, was noted as the best player in Belarus. But somehow, a rather wealthy resident of Kiev, related to football, got to one of the training sessions. His decision was an instant "Buy!". The club was paid 400 rubles, and Belkevich left for Kyiv, where the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Valery Vasilyevich Lobanovsky, immediately saw the potential of the athlete. After a while, he created a shock trinity - Shevchenko - Rebrov - Belkevich. Athletes began to make friends outside of football, often spent time together with their families.

In total, Belkevich played 250 matches and scored 58 goals. At the end of 2006, he became the owner of the “Badge of Honor” for services to Belarusian football. In 2008, he signed a contract with the Keshly club (Inter - Azerbaijan). Having received an injury a year later, he became a coach, broke the contract and applied for Ukrainian citizenship.

In his sports career, there was an unpleasant moment of disqualification, when in one of the matches the Union of European Football Associations accused him of doping. The athlete explained this by injections with steroids in the composition, with which he was treated for a knee injury received in 1993. But he was never able to prove his case to the international community.

As part of Dynamo Kyiv, Valentin was repeatedly chosen as the team captain. He was never accused of a “dirty” game - he was always extremely intelligent on the field, but he could group a team around him outside of it. Even at the end of the contract with Dynamo Kyiv, when an offer was received from the most ardent opponents - Shakhtar Donetsk - to play in his squad, he abruptly refused - this was not consistent with his life principles.

Athlete's personal life

In 2004, the Dynamo captain married the soloist of the VIA Gra group, Anna Sedokova. In this marriage, which turned out to be short-lived, Alina's daughter was born. Two years later, the couple broke up and Valentin returned to Olesya, a friend from the Minsk period, a girl who for some time was his common-law wife even before meeting Sedokova.

Already after the death of Belkevich, litigation of his women began for an inheritance in the form of an apartment and sports awards. Sedokova insists that the property should belong to the parents and the only daughter. Grandfather and grandmother gave up their share in favor of their granddaughter. All this is constantly discussed in the press, brought to the themes of various shows. What happens is that during his lifetime, Valentine could not stand it - his personal life ceased to be personal, and publicity brought tons of garbage and dirt into it.

Fatal thrombus

Close people and friends talk about the death of Valentin Belkevich like this - everything happened at lightning speed. Late in the evening, Valik became sharply ill, he sat down on the sofa and died instantly. Arriving "fast" recorded the fact of cardiac arrest. The cause of death of Valentin Belkevich is called a detached blood clot.

At the insistence of his last wife Olesya, he was buried in Ukraine - Valentin decided to become a citizen of this country, and this fact was respected after his death. The grave is located at the Baikove cemetery next to the grave of the great Bogdan Stupka and mentor Valery Vasilyevich Lobanovsky.

Valentin Belkevich is a multiple champion of national championships, a cup winner, a successful football player who has the maximum number of titles in Belarus. But the young man gained popularity in show business through a personal relationship with the singer.

Childhood and youth

Valentin Nikolaevich Belkevich was born in Minsk on January 27, 1973. Almost nothing is known about Valentine's childhood and family, since he often repeated that his personal life is personal, so as not to tell others about it. Valentin grew up in a simple Belarusian family. His mother, Valentina Kapustina, taught Russian at one of the Minsk universities, and his father worked as a historian.

As a child, Valentin was taken to the youth sports school for the football section. The boy's coach was Mikhail Stepanovich Bratchenya. Already after the death of the ward, the coach recalls that Nikolai Belkevich objected to his son playing football.

Valentine did not go well with his studies, and his father wanted to see his son as the heir to a dynasty of scientists. But on the football field, the young man seemed among the best. Nevertheless, the father did not appreciate the efforts of the child, often even the coach picked up the sports uniform and shoes for Belkevich, since the father did not consider it necessary to purchase sports accessories.

Considering that the parents of the young athlete were divorced and each of them built a new family, the grandmothers were engaged in raising the boy. For a long time, it was the grandmother who took Valentin to training, until he became more independent.

Alexander Khatskevich also worked in the same sports section with Valentin, whom Belkevich met much later as part of the Dynamo football club. The guys became friends in childhood, often chasing the ball outside of training. Unlike the impulsive and temperamental Khatskevich, Valentin always behaved intelligently, listened to the coach, observed discipline, and did not hooligan.

Football

Valentin played his first professional match as part of the Dynamo Minsk football club. The debut of a young football player took place in the 1991-1992 season. Then Valentine played with the Ukrainian club from Zhytomyr. With Dynamo, Belkevich twice received the title of champion of Belarus. Improving his professional skills, Valentin has repeatedly received the title of the best player in Belarus.

A Kyiv millionaire came to one of the training sessions of Belarusian youths. He immediately noted the game Belkevich and said: "I'm buying!". The Belarusian club was paid a symbolic 400 rubles, and the athlete left for Kyiv. There, the head coach of the Ukrainian team, Valery Vasilievich Lobanovsky, instantly appreciated the talent of the young man.

Nevertheless, Valentin almost did not appear in the first team - this is how the decision of the head coach of the club, Jozsef Szabo, manifested itself. But Lobanovsky, who returned to Dynamo, noted the game of Valentin and created a shock tandem of Rebrov and Belkevich. Soon the players became friends and off the field went to visit each other, communicated with their families.

Dynamo Kyiv captain Valentin Belkevich

According to official statistics, in the sports biography of Valentin Belkevich, there are 250 matches (including 38 cup matches) and 58 goals. At the end of 2006, Valentin received the "Badge of Honor" for his services to Belarusian football.

In 2008, Valentin signed a contract with the Azerbaijani club Keshly (Inter). But a year later, the player received the right to coach, on the basis of this, he prematurely terminated the contract with the Azerbaijanis and became a coach. At the same time, Belkevich applied for Ukrainian citizenship, and soon a positive response came.

The footballer faced great disappointment during a match in the Union of European Football Associations in 1994. Then Valentine was disqualified for doping. Belkevich himself pleaded not guilty. The athlete said that in 1993 he faced a knee injury, and injections containing steroids were used in the treatment of the injury.

According to the athlete, steroids were used exclusively for the treatment of the knee joint. However, he could not prove his case to the international community, so Valentine was disqualified.

As part of Dynamo Kyiv, Valentin was often chosen as the team captain. On the field, he was distinguished by intelligent behavior, never played "dirty", but, nevertheless, often acted as the organizer, the center of the game of his club. Belkevich did not break the rules, did not try to earn a free kick with “dirty methods”. Journalists called the period of Belkevich's work at Dynamo Kiev the silver age of Ukrainian football.

Personal life

Even in his youth, a colleague introduced Valentin to a charming blonde of Belarusian origin Olesya in 1996. The young people had an affair. Olesya lived on that coin with her husband and son from her first marriage. The girl left her husband for a famous football player. Then Olesya heard a lot of criticism in her address: the girl was accused of being interested only in the money of a football player and at his expense she was trying to attach her own son.

In the summer of 2004, the press reported on the marriage of Belkevich and singer Anna Sedokova. The ex-participant turned out to be an enviable match for a football player, on the one hand, and on the other hand, information appeared in the media that marriage was a necessary measure, since Anna had been carrying a football player's child for 4 months.

In the wedding photos of the couple, Valentine really does not look like a very happy groom. 6 months after the marriage, the couple had a daughter. The girl was named Alina. But soon after the birth of the child, the singer and football player broke up. Valentin returned to Olesya, with whom he lived before his marriage to Anna.

Death

Shortly before his death, Valentin, together with Khatskevich, met with the first coach and at the banquet they offered to thank him with the purchase of a car, but Mikhail Stepanovich refused - he wanted the young people to achieve success themselves first.

Olesya, who then lived with a former football player, says that on the fateful evening she went out to talk on the phone with a friend, when suddenly Valentin became ill. By the time the ambulance arrived, the athlete was already dead. The cause of death was thromboembolism.

Shortly before his death, Valentin's coaching contract expired. The former football player was very worried about this. Olesya tried to cheer up her common-law husband: she entertained him either by fishing or by traveling together.

The mother of Valentin Belkevich insisted that her son be buried in Kyiv. The funeral was attended by both the common-law wife Olesya, who accepted condolences, and the ex-participant of VIA Gra, Anna Sedokova, who laid a wreath and promptly disappeared.

After the funeral, a financial conflict arose between the women. Anna, who had been living in the United States for the last years with her daughter, flew to Kyiv and claimed the right to Valentin Belkevich's apartment. Sedokova's claims were also supported by the football player's mother, who accuses her son's civil wife of the disappearance of a large sum of money. Olesya denies all claims from third parties.

Today, August 1, Belarusian footballer Valentin Belkevich, the first husband of singer Anna Sedokova, died. Ivona invites you to learn the beautiful and sad love story of an athlete and an artist.

Anna and Valentin got married in 2004. The still young Sedokova wanted to quickly become an adult, and the 18-year-old girl plunged headlong into family life with the famous football player Valentin Belkevich, who was 10 years older than her. The wedding of Belkevich and Sedokova was held on a grand scale and became one of the most covered events of that time.

Anya left the stage and left the Ukrainian team VIA Gra, which at that time was at the peak of popularity. The girl doted on her husband, waited for him at home with a hot dinner and listened to every word of her beloved. Soon their union bore fruit - in December 2004, Alina's daughter was born.

True, happiness was not cloudless. After the birth of Alina, rumors began to appear in the press that a crack had formed in the marriage of Belkevich and Sedokova. Anna denied this information for a long time, but in early 2006 the union broke up and they officially divorced. As Anya admitted some time later, at the time of her marriage she felt like a 13-year-old girl, she was inexperienced and stupid, it seemed to her that marriage with Valentine was the first and only in her life. But fate had prepared a different path for her. Sedokova had to face betrayal and betrayal, and she dared to talk about this only some time after the divorce.

As it turned out, Valentine had another woman. Anna guessed this thanks to female intuition. The husband began to move away from her, linger after work, and then completely stopped coming to spend the night. The young woman could not tolerate such behavior of her husband, packed her suitcase, took the child and left. Belkevich did not insist that she stay, since he really had another woman. She existed in his life even before the appearance of Anna, he continued to communicate with her during his marriage, and after he broke up, he again got back together with his former mistress.

“At some point, I realized that my marriage had burst like a soap bubble. I probably invented it myself. And life is much tougher,” Anna admitted.

Anya was left alone with her two-year-old daughter in her arms. According to her, she does not hold a grudge against the ex-spouse, as she now understands how different people they were: “I don’t blame him and don’t say who is bad. It’s just that one person feels good in one place, the second in another. his life. I respect his right. And my daughter and I are fine too. But for me it was a difficult story."

Anna and Valentin did not remain friends after the divorce, but the father took part in raising his daughter Alina and could see her when he wanted to. "I told myself that never - even if he is the most terrible person in my life - I will not say a bad word to my daughter about her father," Sedokova said in one of her interviews.

After this story, Anna married a second time, and again unsuccessfully - her marriage to businessman Maxim Chernyavsky lasted only two years. But Valentine was waiting for a different story. After his divorce from Anna, he never married. In one of her interviews, Sedokova said: “I know that my daughter and I will always be the most beloved women in his life. I think Valentin will never marry again,” and she was right. Anna Sedokova was the only legal wife of the famous football player, who gave birth to his only daughter Alina.

Today, August 1, 2014, it became known about the death of Valentin Belkevich. The man died from a rupture of a blood clot at the age of 42. Anna Sedokova has not yet commented on the death of the ex-spouse.

Recall that the nine-year-old daughter of Anya Sedokova Alina fell off the swing and badly injured her hand when the ex-VIA Gra went on tour to Ukraine.
