Ball games for elementary grades. Outdoor ball games

Ball games can relieve tension, develop coordination of movements, reaction speed, accuracy and endurance in a child. We offer the most interesting and fun.

Mobile, sports games are especially useful for primary school students. Their body is experiencing a lack of physical activity, in the continuous process of which they were before they began to “sit” in the classroom for half a day.

1. Trolls with a ball

These are the same “catchers”, only playing to escape the chase, at the same time they pass the ball to each other. The main thing is to pass the ball to the one whom the driver is about to catch up with, since a person with a ball cannot be kicked. Water has to switch to another player. It is allowed to intercept the ball. If he was in the hands of the driver, then the participant who caused the loss of the ball will now catch up with everyone. By the way, do you know?

2. Sultan's runners

A place of honor is chosen in the center of the site. Two teams are formed from the participants, these are runners. "Sultan" is separated from the rest of the players and throws the ball as far as possible. At this time, all the walkers, closing their eyes, stand quietly and listen to where the ball will fall. Hearing the sound of the ball on the ground, they run to look for it. The finder tries to quietly pass the ball to the player of his team. You cannot keep the ball in your hands for a long time. Moving towards the goal, it must be thrown to each other at the same time, without giving into the hands of rivals. The winner is the group whose representative is the first to bring the ball to the "sultan" and put it in a place of honor.

Notes: Walkers cannot be peeped, so you should put them with their backs to the place where the "sultan" throws the ball. You can scatter and look for a projectile only after its rebound.

3. Bouncers

Two people (bouncers) stand facing each other at a distance of at least 5 meters. The rest of the participants are placed between them. The bouncers, throwing the ball to one another, must hit those who are playing. Those who failed to dodge the projectile leave the playing field. A hit is not counted if the ball first hit the ground, and only then flew into a person. The task of the last remaining player is to dodge the throw as many times as he is old, then the game is considered won. If the latter does not cope with his task, then the first dropouts go to the place of the bouncers, the game continues.

Notes: The ball is not very heavy (for example, a volleyball), and if the players are very small, it is better to take a children's rubber ball. The game is made more interesting by special names for throws: “Bullet”, “Candle”, “Potato”, “Bomb”, etc. Each of them has its own peculiarity that requires a certain behavior of the participants. We recently wrote about! And among these games there are such - you will download!

4. Aport!

For the game you will need two balls of different colors, but the same size. Taking them in hand, the players stand at a pre-drawn start line. At the command "Aport!" everyone must throw their ball as far as possible and immediately run after the opponent's projectile. The first person to bring someone else's ball wins.

5. Tens

The players take turns doing exercises with the ball.

10 times - just throw the ball at the wall; 9 times - they throw, and while the ball flies, they manage to clap their hands once; 8 times - you need to have time to clap twice; 7 times - three claps; 6 times - the ball is thrown from under the right leg; 5 times - from under the left; 4 times - you need to take the ball by jumping over it, so that it slips between the legs; 3 times - hit the wall with one hand; 2 times - another; 1 time - having managed to turn around.

If the given element fails, the move is passed to the next participant. The winner is the one who completes all the tasks before the rest.

6. Rocket

The players, picking up small (for example, tennis) balls, stand along the outer border of a circle drawn on the ground with a diameter of about 10 meters. The leader with a large (basketball or volleyball) ball is located in the center. With the words: "Three, two, one ... start!" he throws his ball up (launches a rocket), the rest throw small balls at this flying target, trying to hit. For each accurate throw, the player is awarded a point. The winner is the one who scored the most points after a certain number of attempts.

Note: For this sport ball game, a referee is needed who watches from the side. He makes sure that no one steps over the line, and counts the hits.

Ball games for children from 5 years old. Every man for himself

goat

This game is mainly played by boys.

for the game you need: at least two people (each plays for himself), a blank wall of the building and a soccer (or regular) ball.

players stand in a column one after another in front of the wall. the first player kicks the ball against the wall with his foot, his task is to hit the ball above a certain level. to indicate this level, a line is drawn at a distance of approximately 30 cm from the ground. the player who threw the ball stands at the end of the line, now the next player throws the ball against the wall.
the one who hits the wall with the ball below the line is assigned the letter "k", the next time - "o", etc.

the one who first collects the entire word "goat" is out of the game.

the last player left in the game wins.

Now modern children, in order to prolong the pleasure of the game, sometimes collect "kozel.ru".

instead of a line, you can draw a circle or a gate on a wall of a certain size, outside of which you cannot hit the ball.

queen

this game is also called "frog", and it is played mainly by girls.

for the game you need: a blank wall, at least 2 players, a ball.

The players line up one behind the other. the first child throws the ball against the wall with his hands at his level or slightly above himself. when the ball flies back and hits the ground, it must be jumped over without hitting it with either hand or foot. the player standing behind him catches the ball and does the same. after the jump, the player becomes at the end of the queue.

if the player did not jump over the ball or hit it, then the letter “k” is assigned to him, then “o”, etc., until the word “queen” (or “frog”) is typed in full.
the one who types the whole word is out of the game. the last player left in the game wins.

wall

The children line up one after the other. the first player throws the ball against the wall above him and runs back to the end of the column. the player behind him must have time to catch the ball. and throw it for the next player in the same way. a player who does not have time to catch the ball is out of the game.

edible - inedible

all children stand in a line or sit on a long bench. opposite them is the leader. he throws the ball to all the players in turn and names various objects: "soup", "crane", "apple", etc. if the named object is edible, the player catches the ball and pretends to eat it, if it is inedible, he hits the ball back to the driver.

"I know five names..."

this game can be played when a small number of girls gather (boys don't really like this game).

the first player takes the ball, hits it on the ground, beating it with his palm and says (for each hit you need to say one word): “I know five names of boys: Vanya - one, Lyosha - two ...”, and so on up to “five” (repeated it is forbidden). then the next player pronounces his five names in the same way, etc.
on the next "steps" the names of girls, the names of flowers, birds, trees, fish, insects, cities, countries, car brands are listed (this is if the boys suddenly want to play).

if the player lost (missed the ball or did not remember the right name), then he remains on the same “step”, i.e. the next time it is his turn, he will again list the names of items from the category on which he lost. as a result, the players, as it were, are “stretched” in a string along the “steps”. the winner is the one who first reached the last "step".

shtander-stop

this game is very good to play when a few people are walking, from three to six people. more is possible, but then especially impatient participants may get tired of waiting for their turn. This game has many varieties.

we play like this:

everyone stands in a circle. the driver with the ball in one hand becomes in the center of the circle, closes his eyes and stretches his free hand forward. the rest of the participants go around him. at some point, the driver says: “stop!” and opens his eyes.

the one whom his hand points to runs after the ball, which the driver throws somewhere with all his might. when he takes the ball in his hands, he needs to shout: “shtander-stop!”. the driver at this time had already fled far in the other direction.

the one with the ball should estimate the distance to the driver and say how many giant (huge) steps are before him, midget (small steps, when the heel of one foot is placed immediately in front of the toe of the other), human (ordinary), "umbrellas" (turn on one leg around you), “frogs” (jumping), “camels” (you need to spit and stand in the place where you spit).

you can name several types of steps, for example: “up to Yegor - 15“ giants ”, 3“ umbrellas ”and 2“ camels ”.

after that, the player with the ball performs all the named steps, approaching the driver.
when he approached the driver, having taken as many steps as he called, the driver clasps his hands in front of him with a ring, and the player with the ball must hit this ring with the ball. if he hits, then he becomes the leader. if not, the driver remains the same.

dogs

the number of players - from three people, but the more participants, the more interesting.

everyone stands in a large circle, a “dog” is selected (if there are a lot of people, you can choose 2-3 “dogs”), which should stand in the center of the circle. Players throw the ball to each other in random order. the task of the "dog" is to intercept the ball or at least touch it when the ball is in the air, on the ground or in the hands of the players.

from whom the ball was intercepted, he takes the place of the "dog".

potatoes

Children stand in a circle at the same distance from each other and begin to throw the ball to each other. the one who did not catch the ball or dropped it squats in the center: he is the “potato”.

so you can get a lot of "potatoes". in order for the “potatoes” to enter the game again, one of them needs to contrive, jump up without getting up from his haunches, and intercept the flying ball. then all the “potatoes” stand in a circle with other players, and the one from whom the ball was caught becomes a “potato”.

potatoes - 2, or eleven

Children stand in a circle and throw the ball to each other. the first one to throw the ball says "one!" the rest of the throws, the players calculate to themselves: "two, three, four ...".

the one who did not catch the ball sits in a circle: he is a “potato”, and the count starts again. the one to whom the eleventh ball flies must say: “eleven” - and, without catching, hit it with your hands so that it hits the ground in the center of the circle or one of the players (if there are already any in the center). then all the "potatoes" cease to be "potatoes" and stand in a circle. if the one who hit the eleventh ball forgot to say: “eleven”, or didn’t hit anyone, then he joins the “potatoes”.

crippled, disabled, or sick

Children stand in a circle and throw the ball to each other in random order. if someone did not catch the ball, then the one who threw it “takes away” some part of the body or face from him.

for example, a leg - then the player needs to stand on one leg, or a hand - then you need to catch the ball with one hand, an eye - to play with one eye closed, a mouth - to be silent, if the second leg is taken away - you need to kneel. if a “disabled person” threw a ball to someone, but he did not catch it, then the “disabled person” can return the missing part of the body or face instead of “taking it away”.

the one who can no longer catch the ball (“no” two arms, two eyes, two legs) is out of the game.

any other player can help out a disabled person if he throws a “first aid kit” to him. if the disabled person catches this ball, then he can regain one missing part of the body or face.
whoever is the healthiest at the end of the game wins.

cheerful family

this game has many names - "himself", "sajo", "sabzhe".

the children line up, the driver throws the ball to each of them in turn. First, the names of all participants are determined. the driver throws the ball to the first player and says: “your name is a light bulb” (or any other word). the one to whom the ball was intended can catch it - then its name is "light bulb" - or throws it away. then the driver again throws the ball to him with a new name. and so on until that person catches the ball.

sometimes the driver can throw the ball and say: “family” (or “himself”). if the player has caught the ball, he is given the right to choose his own name. (as a rule, children choose their real name). the rest of the players are named in the same way.
on the second round, they begin to pick up a surname, on the third - a patronymic. then they select: the name of the “husband”, his last name, profession, etc.

sometimes funny combinations turn out: fox sapogovna utkina, her husband is clown Fedorovich pancakes, they have 100 children, etc. you can play, as you know, indefinitely, until you get bored.

tens or tithes

for the game you need: a high blank wall, at least two players and a ball. each player has to go through 10 "steps", each "step" is a specific task that must be completed. moreover, the rest can interfere with the player who is currently completing the task: make him laugh, ask something, pretend that the ball will be taken away, etc.

assignments can be as follows:

1. toss and hit the ball with a straight palm against the wall once.

2. hit the ball twice against the wall with fists folded together (you can clasp your hands like this: with the palm of one hand, clasp the clenched fist of the other hand).

3. hit the ball against the wall three times, folding the palms of the boat.

4. throw the ball against the wall so that it bounces off it to the ground, catch the ball from the bounce off the ground and throw it against the wall again. do this 4 times.

5. standing with your back to the wall, throw the ball between your legs, quickly turn around and catch it in your hands after hitting the wall. do this 5 times.

6. standing facing the wall, throw the ball from behind between the legs on the ground so that it bounces against the wall, hits the wall, and then catch it in your hands. do this 6 times.

7. standing facing the wall, throw the ball from under the left foot so that it hits the wall, catch the ball with your hands from the rebound from the wall. do this 7 times.

8. standing facing the wall, throw the ball from under the right foot so that it hits the wall, catch the ball with your hands from the rebound from the wall. do this 8 times.

9. throw the ball against the wall nine times, hitting it with the palms from below.

10. hit the ball against the wall ten times in a row, hitting it like in volleyball.

All tasks must be completed in order.

The player who completes the task moves on to the next "step". as soon as a player drops the ball, makes a mistake, laughs or says something, the turn passes to the next player, and then he will have to start from the stage where he left off.
the winner is the one who completes all the "steps" the fastest.

burned out

all stand in a row with their backs to a blank wall. the driver is at some distance from other players (as in bouncers), he must kick the ball with his foot and hit someone. players can dodge. the driver is replaced by the one who was hit by the ball.

sniper

this game is played in exactly the same way as "burned out". the only difference is that the ball must be thrown with your hands (as in dodgeball), and not kicked with your foot.

four squares

This game needs to be played by four people. a square with a side of about 5-6 steps is drawn on the asphalt with chalk, which is divided into four cells. Each cell contains one player. You can't go outside your cage.

at the beginning of the game, the ball is played: it is tossed up, on whose territory it falls - that's where it starts. that player must kick to any other square. there the ball is received and immediately sent to someone else.

if the player did not have time to receive the ball - the ball, having bounced off his cell, flew out of it, then one point is counted to him.

if the one who passed the ball missed, and the ball flew away immediately outside the common square, then this is already his oversight and he is awarded 1 point. the one who scores 20 points first loses. and the one with the fewest points wins.

Material for the lesson.

Beloborodova Natalia Vladimirovna

In many families, children are not allowed to play ball at home. This is understandable - to hurt something and even break it as easy as shelling pears. However, there are plenty of fairly quiet games that can be played at any time of the year in an apartment.

"Sun"

Sit on the floor opposite the child. Spread your legs apart and bend at the knees, depicting a "house". Roll the ball to each other saying:
The sun walks across the sky
And he enters houses.
And Masha comes in (the ball rolls to Masha),
And he comes to mom (the ball from Masha rolls to mom),
And Masha comes
And to my mother comes ...

When the child understands what the essence of this game is, you can connect other participants - even children or adults.

"In tenth"

Get a box that fits the ball easily. Stand some distance from the child. The child's task is to throw the ball into the box. You can also play differently. Put the box or basin on the floor and try to get into it. You can show the child the procedure with the following rhyme:
Take the ball with one hand
And lift to the shoulder.
Let's look at the basket
And throw it into the basket.

"Big small"

Take several balls of different sizes. Line them up from smallest to largest. Ask your child: “Would you like to roll a big ball or a small ball first?” Rolling balls, tell the child which one is large, medium, small. Ask the kid to show the balls of different sizes.

"Apple"

Children sit in a circle, the driver is selected. The ball is passed in a circle with the words:
Apple, roll, roll.
You are ruddy, roll.
Roll into my palms.
Now stop!

At this moment, all participants quickly hide their hands behind their backs, including the one who had the ball. The host tries to guess, and asks one or another participant to show his hands.

"Skittles"

Place skittles on the floor, or, if there are none, then cubes. You can put one item or several. The task of the child is to knock down the object with the ball.

"Ball in the house"

Place a chair in the middle of the room. Sit close to him. Show your child how to direct the ball so that it rolls under the legs of the chair. Let the kid try to do it on his own.

"Obstacles"

Arrange objects in the room - skittles, cubes - at such a distance that the ball can easily roll between them. Show your child how to gently roll the ball so as not to knock or hit anything.

Queen

This game is also called "Frog", and it is played mainly by girls.

For the game you need: a blank wall, at least 2 players, a ball.
The players line up one behind the other. The first child throws the ball against the wall with his hands at his level or slightly above himself. When the ball flies back and hits the ground, you need to jump over it without hitting it with either hand or foot. The player standing behind him catches the ball and does the same. After the jump, the player becomes at the end of the queue.
If the player did not jump over the ball or hit it, then the letter “K” is attributed to him, then “O”, etc., until the word “QUEEN” (or “FROG”) is typed in full.
The one who types the whole word is out of the game. The last player left in the game wins.
Wall

The children line up one after the other. The first player throws the ball against the wall above him and runs back to the end of the column. The player behind him must have time to catch the ball. And just throw it for the next player. The player who fails to catch the ball is out of the game.

Then the next player pronounces his five names in the same way, and so on.
The next "steps" list the names of girls, the names of flowers, birds, trees, fish, insects, cities, countries, car brands (this is if the boys suddenly want to play).

If the player lost (missed the ball or did not remember the right name), then he remains on the same “step”, i.e. the next time it is his turn, he will again list the names of items from the category on which he lost. As a result, the players, as it were, are "stretched" by a string along the "steps". The winner is the one who first reached the last "step".
Shtander-stop

This game is very good to play when a few people are walking, from three to six people. You can do more, but then especially impatient participants may get tired of waiting for their turn. This game has many varieties.
We play like this:

Everyone stands in a circle. The driver with the ball in one hand stands in the center of the circle, closes his eyes and stretches his free hand forward. The rest of the participants walk around him. At some point, the driver says: “Stop!” and opens his eyes.

The one whom his hand points to runs after the ball, which the driver throws somewhere with all his might. When he takes the ball in his hands, he needs to shout: “Shtander-stop!”. The driver at this time had already run far in the other direction.
You can name several types of steps, for example: “To Yegor - 15“ giants ”, 3“ umbrellas ”and 2“ camels ”.

The ball is the favorite toy of most children. We offer you 10 ball games that allow children to make a lot of noise and have fun, and at the same time promote the development of motor skills during the game. Another advantage of the ball: not all games necessarily need partners.

Ball games contribute to the development of children

The developing abilities of ball games for preschool children are very diverse. A rolling object keeps them in constant motion, which trains the heart and improves blood circulation. Interaction with the ball allows you to develop motor skills: a sense of balance, coordination of movements, reaction and concentration.

On the other hand, ball games also support social adaptation. Group games always mean that partners must interact, reckon with each other, share the ball with others. In addition, during a group game, rules are usually drawn up that all participants must adhere to.

Discover the ball

Give your child time to play with the ball alone. He will kick the ball, step on it and throw it against the wall, and then catch it again. Football fans are ready to play with any ball that gets under their feet. Since the ball is one of the most unpredictable play objects that seems to have a life of its own, it will take a lot of time for children to master the many different movements that can be performed with the ball. All you need is enough space and a small baby ball.

10 ball games for preschoolers

1. Hit the target

Throwing the ball at some target is boring, especially if you can’t hit it in any way. You can revive the game by choosing unusual targets or original balls.

  • Place a pot, a bowl, a bucket, a wastebasket, a laundry basket, or a large toy truck with a trailer in your apartment, for example, near the front door. Who will be able to throw the ball into the basket? After a while, you can gradually increase the distance.
  • Place empty bottles, cans, or books, for example. Who will be able to roll the ball from a three-meter distance so that it causes objects to fall?
  • Who can hit a street sign with a snowball?
  • Place several vases next to each other. Who can throw a small ball or table tennis ball into a vase? If you want, you can stick labels with glasses on the vases, depending on their size. Whoever gets the most points wins this competition.
  • Hang the bell on a branch in the yard. Who will hit the bell?
  • Crumpled newspapers or socks twisted into a knot can become very original projectiles.

2. Relay with the ball

There are a great many options for relay races with the ball.

  • Stand in a row or circle with legs apart. Children must pass the ball between their legs to each other.
  • Stand in a row or circle again with your feet shoulder-width apart. Roll the ball through the "tunnel" of legs wide apart.
  • Children stand in a row or in a circle and pass the ball over their heads to each other.
  • The family sits in a wide circle, legs pointing towards the center of the circle. And now everyone must pass the ball to each other with their feet.

3. Ball on the stairs

For this game, children will need a ladder. They throw the ball on the first step and catch it. Go down one step and repeat the action. The one who makes a mistake and misses the ball starts over.

4. Ball and towel

For this game you will need a towel and at least two players. Both players grab the towel by the ends, the ball is placed on the stretched towel. They must toss the ball into the air with the towel and then catch it back. If the game goes well, you can ask two pairs of kids to throw the ball to each other.

5. Deception

Children stand in a circle, hands behind their backs. One child with the ball becomes the center of the circle. He throws the ball to one of those who are standing, and he must stretch his arms forward to catch the ball. However, the host can make a deceptive attack. And the one who stretches his hands forward changes places with him.

6. Miracles of catching balls

One or more children stand next to each other on the starting line. The target, depending on the wishes, may be several meters behind them. The leader stands in front of the children, who throws the ball to them in turn. The one who catches the ball and throws it back to the leader may take a step back. The one who drops the ball remains standing in the same place. The leader does not change his position, respectively, the distance between him and the children is constantly increasing. The one who reaches the goal first becomes the leader.

7. Long throw

The child stands right in front of the wall of the house. He throws the ball and catches it. Then he takes a step back and throws again. The action must be repeated until the ball can be caught. It would be nice to complicate the game and ask the child to clap his hands before catching the ball.

8. Hit the ball on target

In front of the wall of the house, draw circles on the ground with chalk. They should be at a distance of about three meters from the wall of the house. The child throws the ball at the wall so that it hits one of the circles when it lands.

9. Free ball

Children stand in a circle, feet shoulder-width apart so that the feet are in contact with the feet of a neighbor. The leader stands in the center of the circle and tries to throw the ball between legs wide apart. Children must by any means, helping themselves with their hands and feet, not allow the ball to roll out of the circle. The one who misses the ball becomes the leader.

10. Hotball

Children sit on the floor in a wide circle and roll the ball to each other. A child sits in the center of the circle and dodges the ball because it is "hot". But he is only allowed to crawl. If the child who is in the center is hit by a ball, he sits in a circle next to the other guys, and the next one goes to the center. You can also play seated football in this position.

strong throw

Teams stand in lines 20-30 meters apart. In the middle lies a large (basketball) ball. Players throw small balls (snowballs) into the big one and try to roll it to the opponent's side. The team that manages to do this wins.

Strong and dexterous

Two teams are arranged in a circle, teammates stand through one. Inside the circle - 8 chocks, in the center lies the ball. On a signal, the players, holding hands, try to push the opponent so that he knocks down the chock. The one who knocked it down takes the ball and, without leaving the circle, salutes one of the players of the other team who have fled in different directions. If he misses, his team receives two penalty points. The team with the fewest penalty points wins.

Don't give the ball to the driver

One of the players is the driver. The rest of the players are placed on the court in random order and, while running, throw a basketball to one another. The driver tries to take possession of the ball. From the place where he managed to catch the ball, he throws it at any player.

In the event of a hit, the player becomes the driver, and the former driver participates in the game on an equal basis with everyone. The players who have been the driver the fewest times win.

Fortification defense

Each of the playing teams forms its own circle, in the center of which is a fortification (several maces, a ball, a snowball, etc.). The fortification is defended by 2-5 players from the other team. Players try to hit the ball into the fortification, and the defenders prevent this. The team whose players destroy the opponent's fortification faster or more times wins.

Throwing the ball into the basket

(team competition for throwing accuracy)

Team players alternately throw a basketball into the basket from various points: from the side from under the shield, from the free throw line, etc. The player who hits the ball into the basket brings his team a point. The team with the most points wins.

Ball to the catcher (ball to the captain)

Two circles with a diameter of 1 m are drawn on different sides of the site, in which there are catchers. The players of the teams, dribbling and passing the ball to each other, as in basketball, try to pass it to their catcher. When this succeeds, the team is awarded two points. The other team prevents this by trying to intercept the ball and pass it to their catcher. The team with the most points wins.

Start for the ball

The leader with the ball in his hands stands between the two teams, whose players are calculated in order. Throwing the ball forward, the leader calls a number. Players under this number rush after the ball and try to get it into the basket. The one who succeeds earns his team two points. If the player who took possession of the ball did not hit the basket, then the struggle continues until the hit. In this case, one point is awarded per hit. The team with the most points wins.

Fight for the ball

Two teams are placed at the place of the game in random order. One of the players is given the ball. On a signal, the players try to complete 5-10 passes between their players. For this, the team gets a point. The team with the most points wins.

Pass protection

Two lines are drawn on the site, one has a team of attackers in a column, the other has a team of defenders. On a signal, the first attacker runs forward with the ball, and the defender comes out to meet him. The attacker tries to go around the defender and hit the ball on the ground behind the line of the defending team. Whoever succeeds, brings his team a point. The next pairs of players do the same, after which the teams change roles. The team with the most points wins.

Forward threes

The players of each team are divided into threes. On a signal, the first triples move to the mark (at a distance of 15-20 m) by passing the ball to each other through the middle one. From there, they pass the ball to the next threes of their team. The first team to complete the movement and make the fewest mistakes wins.

Circle game

The players of one team are placed outside the circle (square), and the players of the second team are placed inside it. Those standing outside the circle try to knock out all the opponent's players. Players inside the circle are allowed to catch the ball from the fly. After a certain time has elapsed or when all the players inside the circle are eliminated, the teams switch roles. The team that eliminates the players of the other team faster or more of them wins.

Around the opponent

Two teams are playing. Two circles are drawn on opposite sides of the site (or hoops are placed). The team in possession of the ball tries to put it in the opponent's circle. For this, she gets a point, and the ball is passed to the other team. The team with the most points wins.

Stop!

The players stand in a circle and are calculated in numerical order. One of them (leader) receives a small ball and goes to the middle of the circle.

The driver hits the ball hard on the ground and calls someone's number. The called one runs after the ball, and the rest of the players scatter in different directions. The summoned, grabbing the ball, shouts “Stop!”, Everyone stops and stands motionless, where the team found them. The driver seeks to hit the nearest player with the ball, who can dodge the ball without leaving the spot (lean, squat, bounce, etc.). If the driver misses, then he runs after the ball, the rest scatter. Taking the ball, the driver shouts “Stop!” and throws the ball at one of the players. The player tagged with the ball becomes the new driver. The players surround him, and the game starts over.

The rules forbid anyone to move after the “Stop!” command, but as long as the ball is not in the hands of the driver, you can move around the court as you like.

ball school

In this game, exercises are performed in order of increasing difficulty. You need a small rubber ball. In the yard, you can set up a stand, which shows the sequence of exercises. Here is some of them:

- Throw the ball up and catch it first with both hands, then only with the right, then with the left.

- Throw the ball up, sit down, touch your toes with your fingers, then get up and catch the ball first with two hands, then with only one.

- Throw the ball over your head from the right hand to the left and vice versa.

- Throw the ball high up, jump, turning in the air, and catch the ball with both hands.

Leaning forward, throw the ball between the legs and, straightening up, catch it in front.

- Throw the ball up, sit on the floor and catch it without getting up, throw the ball up again, stand up and catch it.

A number of exercises can be performed against the wall, if there is one in the yard.

- Throw the ball against the wall and catch with turns, squats, etc.

- The player hits the ball with a strong throw on the ground so that it hits the wall and bounces off it towards the player, who must catch the ball.

Football in a circle

The players stand in a circle at arm's length from each other. One of the players (by lot) goes into a circle, taking the ball with him. The driver, kicking the ball, seeks to knock it out of the circle. The players hold the ball with their feet, preventing it from flying out of the circle. They pass the delayed ball with their feet between themselves, without giving it to the driver. If the driver managed to knock the ball out of the circle (he must fly no higher than the knees of the players), then the player who missed the ball on his right side takes his place. Therefore, each participant in the game tries to protect the gap between himself and his neighbor on the right.

By repeating the game, we can agree that each defends the gap to his left.

One of the options for the game provides for closer contact between the players, that is, those standing in a circle during the game hold hands and do not separate them when hitting and passing the ball.

Foot and head through the set

Two teams of 4 people play in the volleyball field through a net 100-110 cm high. On the whistle, a player of one of the teams kicks a soccer ball with his foot (from his hands) through the net to half of the opponent.

The task of the players on whose side the ball turned out is to transport it back over the net with no more than three kicks or head kicks. During the game, it is allowed to carry yoga over the net in the fight for the ball, but not touch it.

If one of the teams makes a mistake, the game stops. The team that makes the mistake loses one point or service. The score is kept like in volleyball. With a change of serve (after an error by the serving team), the players move clockwise on the court. During each set, it is allowed to make substitutions of players and take one 30-second break for the team.

Three games are played up to 10 points each. After each game, the players change sides of the court.

Ball to the captain

The players are divided into 2-3 teams and line up in a circle, in the center of each circle is one of the players (the captain). On a signal, the player standing in the center of the circle throws the ball to the players in turn and receives it back (the transfer is performed in a predetermined way). The game ends when the ball goes around all the players and the “captain”, having received the ball, raises it above his head.

Don't miss

The players stand in a circle. A line is drawn in front of the toes of their feet, and the leader goes to the middle of the circle.

Those standing in a circle throw the ball between themselves, waiting for the right moment to tarnish the driver. The latter must dodge all the time so that he is not taunted. The player who managed to tarnish the driver goes to the center of the circle, and the driver takes his place in the circle. If the player misses by throwing the ball at the driver, then he gets on one knee and in this position continues to catch and throw the ball. Having missed the second time, he gets on both knees and continues the game in this way. If the player, throwing the ball at the driver, missed the third time, then he leaves the game.

Conversely, if the player is hit by the ball, then he gets down on one knee again and continues to play. In the event of a secondary hit, he may continue the game while standing.

The game lasts 15-20 minutes. The winner is the boy or girl who stays inside the circle the longest and who spends the whole game standing.

Best Defender

The players stand in a circle at arm's length or wider. A circle is drawn in front of their toes. In the middle of the circle, a fortification of three sticks tied at the top is placed. A leader is chosen, who becomes in the center of the circle to protect the fortification. Those standing in a circle have a volleyball.

On a signal, the players throw the ball to each other, and then one of them throws the ball to the center, trying to knock down the tripod. The defender covers the goal by hitting the ball with his hands and feet. The one who manages to bring down the fortification changes place with the defender.

Play for a set time. In conclusion, the best defenders are noted, who defended the fortification longer than the rest, as well as the most accurate guys, whose throws hit the target.

The rules forbid, throwing the ball, go over the line, and the defenders hold the fortification with their hands. If the ball hit the fortification and moved it, but did not knock it down, the game continues. If the defender himself knocked down the fortification, his place is taken by another driver (he becomes the one who had the ball in his hands).

living target

The players stand in a circle at arm's length. A circle is drawn in front of their toes. Choose a driver who goes to the middle of the circle. One of the people standing in a circle picks up a volleyball. The players throw the ball and try to hit the driver, who, escaping the ball, runs, jumps and dodges in a circle. The one who hit the driver with the ball without going beyond the line changes place with him.

According to the rules of the game, a hit from the ground, as well as to the head of the driver, does not count.

One of the variants of the game is called "Protect a Comrade". The formation of the players is the same, only two drivers go to the middle of the circle. One of them protects the other, standing behind his back, from being hit by the ball. Protects arms, legs and entire body. If he still fails to protect and they hit the driver, then they change with the one who got into the driver, and with the one he chooses as his defenders.

Ball to the target

A volleyball is placed in the middle of the court, and those playing with tennis (rubber) balls in their hands stand 10 steps from it beyond the line. The winner is the one who did not miss and who, after hitting the volleyball, rolled further.

In the second option, players with tennis balls in their hands stand in a circle. The driver throws the volleyball up, the players throw their balls, trying to hit the flying target. A point is awarded for each hit. The winner is the one who scored more points in 8-10 attempts.

They play near a blank wall or near a basketball backboard. The players alternately throw a tennis ball into the wall (shield), whose bounces further, he is the winner. Throws can be made from a place and from a running start.

In another version of the game, the ball hits the ground with force and rises up. After the hit, everyone together starts counting from one until the ball touches the ground. Whoever hits harder, his ball will last longer in the air.

The fastest

Two teams play, the players of each are calculated in order and remember their numbers. They stand in a common circle (through one) facing the center. In the middle of the circle lies the ball (mace). The leader calls any number. Players with this number from both teams run around the circle outside (both run in the same direction, which is agreed upon in advance), and when they reach the place where they stood before, they run to the ball to take possession of it. Whoever does this first earns their team a winning point.

Ball race in a circle

All players stand in a circle and count on the first or second. The first numbers - one team, the second - another. Two nearby players are captains, they each have the ball in their hands.

After the signal, the balls are passed in a circle in different directions through one to the players of their team. Each team strives to pass the ball as quickly as possible so that it returns to the captain as soon as possible. If the balls collide, they are picked up and the game continues from the place where they fell.

The second version of the game is that the balls are on different sides of the circle and are passed (on a signal) in the same direction (to the right or to the left). The task of the team is to make passes faster so that one ball catches up with the other.

Ball race in a square

Four teams are located on the sides of a square court half the size of a volleyball court. The players line up in columns, the first in the hands of the balls.

On a signal, the players dribble the ball to the right by hitting the ground, while trying to catch up with the one in front and touch him throughout the circle, they dribble the ball the second round until luck comes to one of the teams. The player who has lost the ball picks it up and continues to dribble. So that the players do not cut off the corners of the site, you can put flags or racks on the turns, put noticeable objects (colored plastic cubes, skittles, stuffed balls). After the first numbers, the second ones enter the fight, then the third ones, etc.

25 gears

Spend two lines at a distance of 8-10 steps from one another. Four pairs of players stand behind the lines opposite each other (the first against the second, the third against the fourth).

On a signal, the first numbers pass the ball to the second numbers standing opposite, those to the third, and the third to the fourth. Those who received the ball return it back to the third numbers, those to the second, etc. The dropped ball is put into play by the player who did not catch it from the place allotted for the transfer. It is agreed in advance how the players in fours pass the ball between themselves (from the chest, from behind the head, by hitting the ground).

The four with 25 passes first wins.

Guard the captain

The players are divided into two teams, each of which has one captain, three or four attackers and the same number of defenders. It’s good if the players of one of the teams put paper or cloth caps on their heads, and the other starts playing without them. Then the game will have fewer errors when passing the ball.

The site is divided in half by a line. The captains and defenders remain in their half of the court, while the attackers go to the opponent's field.

After the ball has been played from the center, the team that has taken possession of the ball tries to get closer to the opposing captain by dribbling and passing and knocking him down. This is countered by defenders who seek to intercept the ball and, in turn, send it to the opponent's field to their attackers.

For hitting the captain with the ball (he moves only in his own half of the court), the team receives one point.

The rules do not allow defenders to cross the middle line (to help their attackers), and the attackers to return to their own half to help the defenders. For violation of the rules of the team are punished by the loss of the ball. The game lasts 10-15 minutes.

The team with the most points wins.

To your catcher

The game is similar to basketball. Participants are divided into two teams and play on a rectangular area bounded by lines. Each team tries to get hold of the ball and throw it at the goal. However, this goal is not the basket, but its own player (catcher), standing in a circle (or triangle) drawn on the ground. Catchers are located at opposite ends of the site. To catch the ball, the catcher can bounce, but has no right to step into the neutral zone that encircles the circle (width 70-90 cm). Field players of both teams are not allowed to enter this area either. For this and other technical violations, the ball is transferred to the opposing team. A foul play is awarded a free throw from a distance of six paces from a standing catcher. The thrower can only be hindered by one interceptor, located near the neutral zone in front of the catcher.

It can be agreed that the player will throw the ball to the catcher only after crossing the middle line of the court or having previously made at least 3 passes between his players. Each well-aimed throw brings the team 1 point. After that, the ball is put into play by the losing team with a throw from behind the front (short) line of its court. Two halves are played for 8-10 minutes.

More gear

They play on a rectangular area bounded by lines. The game is similar to basketball or handball, but without throwing at the goal. The ball is put into play by one of the teams by lot. The players of the team in possession of the ball try (skillfully maneuvering, avoiding interference from the opponent) to make 10 passes between their players in a row without giving the ball to the opponent. After that, the game stops (the team is awarded 1 point), and the ball is injected from the side by the player of the injured team.

The duration of the game is 10-15 minutes. The team with the most points during this time wins.

In the game, it is important to observe the following conditions. If the ball is intercepted by an opponent, the accumulated number of passes is canceled and a new pass count is kept by the team that has the ball. The head of the game counts the passes aloud and loudly enough.

If the ball is knocked over the sideline by the opponent or the latter played rough, the ball is thrown in from behind the sideline with the continuation of the count of passes. The team keeping the score of passes, if the rule is violated, loses the ball, and the accumulated number of passes is cancelled.
