To protect yourself psychologically, learn to move away from the enemy and isolate yourself from him. First, make sure there is some kind of barrier between you and your opponent. It can be a cabinet, table, chair or any other object. Second, choose a closed pose. You can cross your arms or legs, this will show the enemy that you do not intend to be frank and open. Thirdly, imagine that there is a thick impenetrable glass wall between you and your opponent. This will help you to trust that the enemy will not be able to harm, and you will be able to protect yourself. As a result, you will step back and calm down, and the opponent will understand that he cannot break you.

The visualization method will help provide psychological protection. Do not listen to your opponent, but look at him. Consider the features of his face, clothes. In the process of inspection, you will be able to identify some shortcomings and distract from the aggression emanating from the enemy. By concentrating on the visual image, you simply will not hear the rude words and arguments of the interlocutor, which will allow you to defend yourself. This method helps to literally unsettle the opponent and discourage him, because many are waiting for a response, but in this case there will be none.

Before you start fully training in the gym, you will need to spend some time on the minimum adaptation of your muscles to the new load for them. It does not require anything from you, except desire and a little bit of your time. Even a gym is not required for these purposes - it is quite possible to work out at home.

So, here is the program that you need to do at the very beginning:

  1. Lying crunches (feet resting on a chair) 3 X max.
  2. Squats 1 X max
  3. Push-ups (from knees) 1 X max.

The left number is the approaches. She tells you how many times you should "come up" and do the exercise. For example, in our case, you threw your legs up and did a certain number of twists without stopping (until your strength ran out). It's called making an approach. In the future, you will use such a load that the forces end (muscle failure occurs) in a certain range that we need, but for now you need to prepare your muscles for such a load. After three series (sets) on the press (twisting lying down), you rest for a minute and do one set of squats with your own weight, that is, without additional load (50-100 ... as much as you can) and then rest again for a minute.

The last thing you do is lying down in an easy form: kneeling. Also the maximum possible number of repetitions in the approach. What's next? Then we wait for the next day and .... pain. Training has damaged your muscle fibers. And since your muscles had no such experience before, these injuries are especially traumatic. Pain suggests that you did everything right, and that the work was at the limit of strength. "Healing" takes a certain number of days. For beginners, the pain will most likely persist for 3-7 days.

Your task is to repeat this workout one day after the pain has completely gone. After the second workout, the pain will go away faster, after the third even faster. You continue to do this complex until the pain recedes and you have the opportunity to train twice a week. Those. the pain recedes on the 2nd day or you do not feel it at all. This is a sign that you can train the abdominal muscles 2-3 times a week. And legs and chest 1-2 times a week. Legs, buttocks, chest, as a rule, hurt a little longer than the press because of their size.
